Tarot Card of the Week: Queen of Swords

Queen of Swords

Tarot Card of the Week: Nov 30 – Dec 6, 2015

Queen of Swords

Decisions that you make this week will require you to use intellect and logic rather than emotions and intuition.

The Queen of Swords signals a need for discipline. Whether you’re acting in this capacity or dealing with someone who embodies these qualities — like authority, self-reliance and impartiality — this week you will need to rise to the occasion.

The Queen of Swords in most decks can be rather cold and austere. She can be critical and judgmental, detached from her emotions and unwilling to compromise her convictions but this version emphasizes wisdom and maturity.

Notice the silver hair and tattered robes in this version — from the Druidcraft Tarot. She’s not here to impress anyone. She knows who she is and is comfortable in her own skin.

She doesn’t wield her sword like a weapon; she caresses it gently, just as her bare feet keep her grounded and rooted to the earth and the feather in her headdress keeps her connected to the wisdom and teachings of her ancestors.

Weekly Astro Forecast — Nov 29 – Dec 5, 2015

Weekly Astrology Forecast

Here is the Psychic Scoop Astrology Forecast for the week of Nov 29 – Dec 5, 2015:

This week starts with a Sun / Neptune square on Sunday, which may see you feeling unsure about yourself and questioning your own self-worth as well as how you may be perceived by others. This aspect can manifest as insecurity, self-doubts, and hypersensitivity to criticism.

Giving Thanks after Thanksgiving: The Real Role of Gratitude

Between the months of October and November, the United States and Canada celebrate “Thanksgiving” – the  holiday seemingly designed for uncomfortable conversations with in-laws and turkey (or Tofurky), garlic mashed potatoes, green beans, pumpkin pie and giblet gravy.

The original reasons for “Thanks Giving” celebrations are various; from Martin Frobisher surviving his voyage from England to discover a Northern Passage to the Pacific, or the Pilgrims of Plymouth celebrating an especially good harvest in 1621, to  the many many “harvest” celebrations in gratitude for the bounty of the season.

Thanksgiving dinner is over, but Thanks-Giving is also an act that we would all do well to inspire on days that don’t include snapping wishbones or football comas.  Giving Thanks and being grateful for what we have, observing the good things in our lives and thinking about what we care about is one of the fastest and surest ways to attract more success and abundance in our lives.  Being content and valuing what is HERE NOW is one of the most powerful things we can do to take care of those things which are truly important to us.

Gratitude reduces pain, fear and stress in ourselves and others.   We spend most of our lives focusing on what DOESN’T work, what we’re scared of, what we don’t like, what we don’t want to happen that we spend little time reflecting on what is true in the moment.

Chiron Turns Direct — November 27, 2015

On Friday, November 27, 2015, Chiron (the wounded healer) returns to direct motion after being in retrograde motion since June 24, 2015.

Retrograde motion is the time when the wounds of the past are turned inwards and your spirit weeps! If you went through something during the retrograde phase, you probably refused to deal with it or you couldn’t deal with it because it was too painful.

Now you might be ready to deal with the upsetting situation and do the hard work to put yourself back on solid ground!

You see, Chiron orbits between the planets of Saturn (hard work) and Uranus (the awakener). Saturn is related to karma, restrictions, lessons to learn and sometimes bad luck.

Saturn makes you roll up your sleeves and do the hard work to solve your problems and Uranus awakens you with insight to help you get out of a rut. If you ignore the insight from Uranus, you’ll end up with more work to do to heal your wounds and you’re spirit will continue to weep.

Earth Angels

“I feel like I don’t fit in. I always felt that I was a social outcast. When I was in grade school, the other children always told me I was weird…”

“I feel lonely because most of my friendships are one-sided, where I never get to discuss my own troubles. Most often I know what people are about to say, and people get irritated with me because I finish their sentences”.

These are some of the statements often heard from people whose reincarnated spirits have an origin, either in their last life’s or more often from other planes of existence, such as the angelic, elemental (nature’s angels) or interplanetary realms, etc.

Tarot Card of the Week: Seven of Cups

Mythic-tarot-7Cups

Tarot Card of the Week: Nov 23 – Nov 29, 2015

Seven of Cups

This week you might be having vivid dreams about a lost relationship, one that you want back. Your dream might remain as “Castles in the Sky” until you’re ready to repair the relationship or let go of the relationship and move on…

Psyche Meets Eros’s Mother, Aphrodite

After Psyche hurt Eros (Cupid) and lost his trust, damaging their marriage, she wandered the Earth looking for Eros but she could never find him.

Determined to tell Eros she truly loved him, she contacted his mother (Aphrodite) and asked for help. Aphrodite, still angry with her initial devious plot that went awry, sought revenge by giving Psyche a list of extremely difficult tasks to complete.

Psyche felt like her dreams were just “Castles in the Sky” after she talked with Aphrodite but realized that she had to hunker down and do what Aphrodite wanted in order to get Eros back!

Eros, watching from a distance, knew Psyche was going through hell because of his mother’s spitefulness. He made a heartfelt decision, visited Jupiter and asked Jupiter to convince Aphrodite to help Psyche.

Hauntings of the Ouija: It’s Not a Game! Part II

ouija board

In Part I, I discussed how dangerous it can be to fool around with a Ouija Board if you do not know what you’re doing and how my sister in law disturbed a monster of evil into the house.  Please read Part I if you have not already. As stated in the first article my husband’s family never did get rid of this evil energy and went into this dormant state.

I came on the scene in 1987 when I married my husband but mid 1988 my mother in law had passed and my father in law was lost and wanted us to move into the house since at the time we were living in an apartment.

Weekly Astrology Forecast

Here is the Psychic Scoop Astrology Forecast for the week of Nov 15 – Nov 21, 2015:

This week starts out with a Venus / Neptune inconjunct on Sunday. This aspect can have you questioning your own morals as well as your feelings about others. What you may have found appealing in the past is now being shown in a different light. This transit compels you to think about how much you give of yourself and whether that translates to sacrificing your own needs.

I’m SOOOOO Tired!!! (Empaths and Adrenal Fatigue)

adrenal fatique

Hello.  My name is Malia.  I am energy/aura reader, empath, channel & practitioner of energy healing.

What does it mean to be an empath? It is one thing to discover you are an empath, having the ability feel others feelings and even physical sensations, but it’s an entirely different journey to learn then what that means for you, how (or whether) to interpret the information, and how to bring yourself to a healthy and centered place again and again. And, it is entirely possible, even probable, that you arrived here, in this life, having forgotten your power, who you truly are, what your gifts are and how to use/focus them.  In recent years, I have been offered ongoing guidance to assist fellow empaths in exploring their gifts and learning to ground, and as a result, have a more peaceful life experience.  For the purpose of this article, I am sharing guidance regarding adrenal fatigue, grounding, and my perspective, as an empath, on both.

Tarot Card of the Week: Four of Mirrors

Four of Mirrors

Tarot Card of the Week: Nov 9 – Nov 15, 2015

Four of Mirrors

This week is all about choices as well as the choices and decisions you may be putting off whilst, perhaps, you wait for something better to come along.

This is the Chrysalis Tarot’s version of the Four of Cups, called the Four of Mirrors in this deck.

The four mirrors stand for the suit of Cups and from the pattern they are displaying in the water also show that your thoughts, decisions, choices may be changing like the tide.

One day you are high on an idea and the next day you are low and no longer want to go along with that idea.

I don’t blame you… from the looks of things where you are sitting it looks pretty comfortable and calming.

This week’s New Moon (on the 11th) is in Scorpio. It fits in very well with the watery energy of this card, which immerses you deeply into the realm of the unconscious. But there no intense emotions here: everything is running along quite smoothly.
