Here is the Psychic Scoop Weekly Astrology Forecast for the week of Sept 28, 2026 – Oct 4, 2026:
We’ve got a lot going on this week, with two planets (Mars and Mercury) changing signs, one planet (Venus) changing direction, one planet (Pluto) out of bounds, and a fixed T-square involving Mercury, Mars, and Pluto. There’s also a complete lack of Earth sign energy, aside from the Moon, which will spend a welcome 26 hours in Taurus.
First up, on Monday, Mars leaves Cancer and moves into Leo, where it’s generally a very happy camper. Leo is a much more comfortable placement for Mars, as its natural orientation toward action, assertion, and drive is more aligned with the Leo Fire sign energy than Cancer’s indirect, passive, and overly sensitive Water sign expression.
Mars in Leo is regal and dignified. It is dynamic and expressive. It’s a confidence-builder and attention-grabber. Where is this transit taking place in your natal chart? The transiting Mars will show you where you want to put your best foot forward over the next 6 weeks, and where your ego, pride, and any issues related to self-respect are likely to be triggered. Mars will remain in Leo until November 26, when it moves into Virgo.
Also on Monday, the Sun trines Uranus while Mercury trines the Moon’s North Node. The Sun / Uranus trine is great for flying your freak flag in a socially acceptable way. If you think that’s an oxymoron, consider that the Sun is tied to your life force, identity, will and self-expression, while Uranus is tied to thinking outside the box. It is associated with being progressive and innovative, as well as broadening your range. This aspect encourages you to march to the beat of your own drum and express your own unique individuality in ways that inspire rather than shock.
The Mercury / Node trine is good for bringing people together and opening the lines of communication. It’s a collaborative aspect, good for ironing out conflicts or misunderstandings, because as it trines the Moon’s North Node, it will simultaneously sextile the South.
Tuesday’s Taurus Moon brings with it some much-needed Earth sign energy, albeit temporarily. It will be the only heavenly body occupying an Earth sign — aside from other upcoming lunar transits — until Mars moves into Virgo in late November! The Moon is exalted in Taurus, meaning that it’s a revered placement. An exalted planet or luminary is said to express its clearest and purest essence in that sign; in this case, it’s the calm, gentle, fertile sign of Taurus.
With that in mind, it could be a good day to lounge around the house, listening to music, baking, decorating, and — depending on where in the world you’re located — landscaping and gardening. These are all Taurus Moon activities — and all good choices given the need to stay grounded and in Earth sign deference. The theme of comfort, security, sustenance, and connecting with nature and the Earth is the primary focus.
Mercury leaves Libra and moves into Scorpio on Wednesday. This begins a period of seeking meaning in all things and of looking for more substance and depth in our lives. We may stop taking things at face value and ask ourselves, “What is really going on here?” and “What does it all mean?” We may become less interested in engaging in superficial social activities and opt to work more behind the scenes.
You may see increased focus in your life in the area this transit takes place in your natal chart. You may find yourself unraveling mysteries about yourself or coming to terms with things you’ve been in denial about in the past. Take some time this week to look at yourself, your own agendas and hidden motivations during this time.
Along with its ingress into Scorpio, Mercury also opposes Chiron on Wednesday. While both of these planets are at 0°, they’re moving in opposite directions, with Mercury moving forward through Scorpio and Chiron moving backwards (retrograding) through Aries, making the impact of this opposition relatively short-term. Don’t let the Mercury / Chiron opposition see you feeling inadequate or wallowing in self-pity. And don’t allow yourself to become susceptible to deception — including your own. And most importantly, don’t get caught up in drama or let your compassion for others cloud your thinking.
The Moon, now in Gemini, will trine Pluto, conjunct Uranus, and trine the Sun on Thursday, thus forming a Grand Air Trine involving the Sun, Moon, Uranus and Pluto. Grand trines are made up of three or more planets, each roughly 120° apart, and each in different signs of the same element. In this case, that element is Air, with the Sun at 7° Libra, Pluto at 3° Aquarius, Uranus at 5 ° Gemini, and the Moon between 3°-8° Gemini for the duration of this aspect.
Grand trines are famously collaborative and cooperative in nature. They’re harmonious and fortuitous but not necessarily action-oriented. Particularly this one, with these planets in Air signs, where the primary focus is communication, socialization, and exchanging ideas.
This configuration should be excellent for brainstorming and thinking outside the box. These three planets, all in air signs, bring insight, innovation and ingenuity to the forefront. This is an excellent transit for negotiating change, especially with respect to group activities and community or humanitarian efforts.
Mars trines Neptune on Friday. This is a very creative pairing that can see you exploring your artistic or musical sensibilities. You may also find that your intuition and psychic perceptions are off the charts. The Mars / Neptune trine can see you tuned into the music of the spheres like never before.
This aspect reminds you that you are one with the Universe and everyone in it. It’s creative, compassionate and benevolent. It can inspire you to put your own needs aside and to become a better person. It can also indicate a desire to escape into romance and fantasy, so don’t be afraid to take advantage of the energy and spice up your love life.
On Saturday, Mercury, Mars, and Pluto all join together in a Fixed T-square. The focal point of this T-square is Mercury, which forms a 90° (square) aspect to both Pluto and Mars. In turn, Mars and Pluto are in opposition (180°) to one another.
All three of these planets are in fixed signs, with Mercury in Scorpio, Mars in Leo, and Pluto in Aquarius. As fixed signs are known to be more rigorous and unyielding, this configuration is prone to stubbornness, rigidity, and inflexibility. It can manifest as intense power struggles amongst individuals and groups. It can be forceful, dogmatic, and uncompromising.
This is not the time to draw battle lines or try to force your views on another, as the rigidity associated with this configuration means that no matter which side you’re on, nobody wins. Those with planets around 3 degrees in fixed signs (Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, and Aquarius) may feel this tension up close and personally.
Also on Saturday, Venus goes stationary retrograde at 8° Scorpio 29′. From an astrological perspective, retrogrades motivate us to review, revisit, refine, and resolve challenges that are holding us back from progressing in the area related to the planet involved. It’s also a time to reassess your values and to decide what (or whom) is no longer working for you.
They may relate to unfinished business from past lives, or they may refer to repeating patterns in our present lifetimes. Either way, the presumption is that when that planet is Venus, the challenges faced are going to be tied to love and relationship challenges. This includes the entire spectrum of “relationships”: romantic, familial, social, etc.
Venus is debilitated in Scorpio, the sign of its detriment. It will retrograde slowly through Scorpio and then back into Libra on October 27th, where it will remain until December 4th. Venus goes direct at 22° Libra 52 on November 15th. Don’t be surprised if old lovers resurface during this time, or if you feel the urge to reach out to people from your past. If so, keep in mind this is more about resolving unfinished business or tying up loose ends, and you’re likely to see things change again once Venus goes direct.
As the week comes to an end, on Sunday, there’s a Sun/Saturn opposition from 11° Libra (the Sun) to 11 ° Aries (Saturn). This aspect can be quite stressful, as it pits the Identity, Ego and Will (the Sun) against external obstacles and restrictions (Saturn). It forces you to consider all the things that could go wrong, and will more than likely convince you that they will.
This opposition is made even more consequential as they naturally rule opposing signs, with the Sun as the natural ruler for Leo and Saturn as the traditional ruler for Aquarius. It can undermine your self-confidence and see you questioning your own self-worth, particularly for those with planets at around 11° in Cardinal signs. Both of these planets are also currently in the sign of their Fall.
Keep in mind, though, that they’re also moving in opposite directions (with the Sun moving forward in Libra and Saturn retrograding back through Aries), and as such, the Sun is the stronger influence in this equation. Still, it’s not the time to try to compensate for feelings of inadequacy. As oppositions can reveal areas of personal weakness, you can evaluate this one to see where important changes need to be made.
