Here is the Psychic Scoop Weekly Astrology Forecast for the week of June 9, 2025 – June 15, 2025:
We’ve got a lot going on this week, with one planet (Jupiter) changing signs, one planet (Venus) at its furthest distance from the Sun (aphelion), one planet (Mercury) out of the bounds, and a Full Moon in Sagittarius. Starting with Jupiter, it leaves Gemini (and the fixed star Betelgeuse — as discussed last week) — and moves into Cancer on Monday, for the first time in almost 12 years.
Jupiter is exalted in Cancer, indicating that it’s well situated in the sign most known for being nurturing, loving, caring and emotionally responsive. This Ingress into Cancer may be complicated, though, by some of Monday’s other transits, which are all hard (square aspects). There’s Mercury squaring Neptune, an aspect that’s known for being easily influenced and potentially delusional; there’s Mercury squaring Saturn, which can express as af a pessimistic attitude, and there’s Venus squaring Pluto, which can manifest as intense emotional drama and power struggles. Jupiter in Cancer won’t be overshadowed by these transits though, at least not in the long run.
Mars trines Chiron on Tuesday. Chiron is known as the wounded healer, indicating an ability to bring comfort and solace to those who need it, even when we’re struggling with finding it in ourselves. And as Mars represents action and initiation, wouldn’t it be nice if we personally delivered those messages of compassion, forgiveness and hope?
This aspect is loaded with kindness, empathy and understanding. It’s capable of loving the unlovable and forgiving the unforgivable. There’s an unparalleled capacity to accept people as they are, knowing that we’re all just doing the best that we can.
On Wednesday, there’s a Full Moon at 20° Sagittarius 39. The June Full Moon is known as the Strawberry Moon in Native American traditions. It’s also sometimes referred to as the Full Rose or Full Hot Moon. This takes place at 7:43 a.m. UT (or 3:43 a.m. EDT).
The Full Moon each month provides an overview of the progress you’ve made since its New Moon counterpoint on May 27th.
Seeds that were planted then will surely have sprouted; do you need to make adjustments or change your course entirely? Now is the time to think about what you’ve accomplished and where you want to go from here.
In general, the Moon in Sagittarius is expansive and spirited, with a strong focus on personal and spiritual evolution. As the Moon is associated with feelings, emotions, and security needs, as well as home, family, heritage, and the past, and Sagittarius is associated with freedom, Independence and personal expansion, it may not be easy to reconcile the two seemingly disparate realms. There’s a little help this time by the fact that the Moon and Jupiter are in mutual reception, with each of them posited in the sign that the other one rules. The Sagittarius Moon always marks a good time to break free from emotional constraints, get out of autopilot, and step outside of our comfort zones.
As Full Moons are said to shine a spotlight on areas in your chart that are affected (by house position and contacts to other planets) you might look to your own natal chart to see where this will play out for you. Where is your natal Moon, and what phase was it in at birth? And in what house is this month’s Full Moon posited now? This can tell you a lot about what to expect in the month ahead.
The Sun squares the North and South Nodes on Friday, a condition that’s known by classical astrologers as “at the bendings.” As the Moon’s North and South Nodes are always in opposition with one another, when a planet forms an aspect with one, it automatically forms a corresponding aspect with the other. A planet (or luminary, in this case the Sun) at the bendings, especially in a natal chart, often indicates strong karmic implications. But what about by transit?
In this case, the Moon is also involved as it was within one degree of its own square to the Nodes at Wednesday’s Full Moon. With both the Sun and the Moon at the bendings, this could signify the onset of a major transitional period. In the US natal chart (Sibley, for those keeping track of the different US natal charts), it’s taking place in the first and 7th houses, with the Moon conjuncting and the Sun opposing the US chart’s 7th house Mars. At the same time, the transiting South Node is conducting the US chart’s 9th house Neptune.
It’s no surprise then, that we’re seeing a very public falling out between the USA’s favorite tag team — Trump and Musk (Mars = conflict and aggression; Moon = overreacting and taking things personally; 7th house = open enemies), as well as the disintegration of formerly congenial relationships with foreign countries (Neptune = dissolution. 9th house = foreign affairs, South Node = karmic debts). As an added note, the South Node is also now transiting the fixed star Denebola, which has been said to disburse some concerning influences.
Meanwhile, Mercury is now fully out from under the sun’s beams and visible once again as an Evening Star. It’s been rising after the Sun for over a week (making it now viewable in the night sky) and by Saturday, it’s officially out of bounds. Out-of-bounds planets tend to go rogue. They may behave like runaway children, no longer under their father’s (eg, the Sun’s) watchful eye. Thus, they can be reckless, undisciplined and erratic, depending on the planet involved.
In this case, it’s the planet named for the trickster god Mercury. The upside of an out-of-bounds planet is that it’s un-hindered by the Sun’s influence. But too much freedom isn’t necessarily a good thing: unhindered can also mean unrestrained, and with Mercury, that can lead to trouble. We could see Mercury living up to his trickster reputation, and we may even see him trading in his winged sandals and caduceus for a pair of much larger wings and a flight much closer to the Sun.
We end the week (on Sunday) with two potentially problematic squares (90° aspects). There’s a Mars / Uranus square and a Jupiter / Saturn Square, with the Mars / Uranus aspect coming in first, around 9:45 a.m. (UT). With both of these planets in fixed signs — Mars and Leo and Uranus in Taurus —
As for Jupiter and Saturn, this is the classic “rain on your parade” aspect, which can see you struggling to maintain your enthusiasm under the harsh light of day. The Jupiter / Saturn square pits goals and aspirations against all of your self-imposed doubts, fears and insecurities. With Jupiter currently exalted (in Cancer) and Saturn in the sign of its fall (Aries), it won’t be hard to figure out which planet is likely to cause more problems. Especially since Jupiter by nature is upbeat and optimistic, whereas Saturn is more apt to see the glass as half empty. But don’t get too caught up in the negativity associated with this aspect. You don’t want to talk yourself out of taking a chance on something you really want to do, or focus too much on the obstacles that could interfere with your goals.
