The Fool is the first card in the Tarot and is often associated with the onset of — or the very first stage in — the Hero’s Journey.
It corresponds astrologically to the planet Uranus and the sign Aquarius.
The Fool card is numbered zero, reminding us to be “in the moment,” with no past, no present, no fear and no consequences. It’s associated with new beginnings, fresh starts, a devil-may-care attitude, and a giant leap of faith.
