Weekly Astrology Forecast

Here is the Psychic Scoop Weekly Astrology Forecast for the week of Feb 25, 2019 – Mar 3, 2019:

We start this week on Monday, with a grand water trine involving the Moon (in Scorpio), Mercury (in Pisces) and the Moon’s North Node (in Cancer). While both the Moon and Mercury are debilitated by sign, this is a really harmonious aspect that can lend some much-needed tranquility to an otherwise tumultuous period.

The Moon isn’t particularly happy in Scorpio. It’s not a very sociable placement and it’s not the most relaxed. But it is good for closeness and intimacy. It presents opportunities \to form deep personal connections with others, and to explore the inner workings of our own psyches.

Mercury is likewise not comfortable in Pisces — it’s the sign of both its detriment and its fall. There are many positive aspects associated with Mercury in Pisces: it’s sensitive, intuitive and compassionate. It’s also quite mystical and ethereal. But it can be gullible and highly impressionable, so you want to make sure you get your facts straight before you race off toward any rabbit holes.

The trine involving the Moon, Mercury and North should make it easier to align ourselves with others and to develop a more comfortable rapport. This aspect can help foster a meeting of the minds, making it easier to commune with those who are on the same page.  As the North and South Nodes are always in opposition, the planets trining the North Node will automatically sextile the South Node. Think of this as a relatively painless give and take, even with Mercury slowing down now and headed toward retrograde.

As Venus opposes the North Node, it will simultaneously conjunct the South Node. This transit signals the entrance of people into our lives who we are karmically linked to, and the exit of those who are no longer facilitating our growth. There are elements of fate associated with this aspect. Relationships that start or end during this transit are karmic in nature, so it’s important to treat them as sacred.

Tuesday’s Sagittarius Moon trines Chiron and then squares the Sun (as she moves into her 3rd quarter phase) before the day is through. The 3rd quarter moon is linked to career, reputation and outward appearances, among other things.

With it moving through the affable and gregarious sign of Sagittarius, you might feel like spending time with those who make you feel good about yourself, rather than those who drag you down. The Moon in Sagittarius is expansive and spirited, with a strong focus on personal and spiritual evolution.

The Sun sextiles Mars on Thursday, an aspect that’s generally all about taking initiative and making things happen. It’s about being assertive and expressing yourself with confidence and vitality.

With both of these planets in feminine/ receptive / passive signs (Pisces and Taurus respectively) this aspect may not express itself as dynamically or aggressively as it might in other signs, but it’s still good for breathing new life into projects that have made it past their point of inception, and it’s good for revamping your personal style or putting your best foot forward.

Venus squares Uranus on Friday, just before it leaves Pisces and moves into Aquarius. Starting with the Venus / Uranus square, conflicts can erupt — from seemingly out of nowhere — in both your personal relationships and your interactions with others. This aspect pits the urge to merge against the desire for freedom and independence so could see you on a completely different page from your loved ones.

Once Venus moves into Aquarius (and Uranus will change signs too next week, bringing it into mutual reception with Venus), that dynamic is changed considerably. While the desire for freedom and independence is still strong, Venus in Aquarius is more about honoring the differences amongst ourselves and others, and celebrating their quirks.

This is a friendly, sociable Venus with a penchant for rebellion and eccentricity. It opens us up to broadening our minds and forming connections with people from all walks of life. It’s independent and autonomous, with progressive social values and an interest in humanitarian principles.

Now is the time to explore your views on what makes a relationship unique. It’s time to throw out preconceived notions and ideas and to be more tolerant and accepting of the multitude of different relationship styles. This signature is also excellent for expressing your own individuality and acknowledging the same in others.

By Saturday, with the Moon having moved further into Capricorn, everything but Jupiter is besieged by Saturn and Mars. Although some classical astrologers specify this as valid only when Mars is applying to Saturn, it may be important to watch how this manifests in the world around us.

In this scenario, Jupiter could act as the saving grace, prompting us to look at ways in which we need to reevaluate our views on faith, fairness and ideological differences (Jupiter Sagittarius).

Add to that a Venus / Chiron sextile, also on Saturday, and you could find yourself becoming more aware of your own capacity for understanding. This aspect invites you to put yourself in someone else’s shoes and truly feel what they’re feeling. It’s a charitable aspect that compels you to reach into the very depths of your soul — where compassion, forgiveness and empathy all reside — and bring forth that which is within you.

We wind things down on Sunday with Mercury and Uranus both at anaretic degrees and in semi-sextile to one another. As Uranus is the higher octave of Mercury, as as the semi-sextile’s purpose is to bridge the gap between transitional signs, this is one to pay attention to.

This semi-sextile emphasizes rational thinking (Mercury and Uranus), and encourages you to work on manifesting (Aries) your dreams (Pisces).  Still, you could encounter some very opinionated people during this time, or you may find yourself getting a little more rigid about your own progressive ideas. It’s a good time to think about marching to the beat of your own drum, but try to tone down any inclination to be rebellious or defiant.

That’s it for this week. See you next week!
