Free Cosmic Card Reading: Results

As promised — here are the results for the Free Cosmic Card reading posted on April 10th.

If you haven’t had a chance to pick a card, run over to our Facebook Fan page and select one before you read any further.

The results for this month’s 10 cards are posted below.

These cards reveal your specific message for the April New Moon, which occurs on Saturday, April 18, 2015, at 2:57 pm (Eastern time) at 28° Aries 55.’

We’ll do this again next month, prior to the Taurus New Moon on May 18th.

The Sabian symbol for this degree is: “The Music of the Spheres.” It refers to aligning yourself with a higher power — whatever that might mean for you — and following your own unique path. It also refers to the need to listen to (and heed) your inner voice.

The following ten cards include each of the 8 planets (excluding Earth) and the Sun and Moon — the main 10 bodies astrologers look to in analyzing a chart.

Here are the results:

And here are the interpretations for each of the positions, starting with card 1:

Pluto

Card 1: Pluto

This period is going to be all about getting in touch with the deepest darkest regions of your psyche. It’s going to be about facing your fears and gaining a better understanding of yourself.

It’s a time of for healing from past heartaches and emotional upheavals and seeing them as a conduit for personal growth.

You may be letting go of a painful situation that requires you to put it firmly behind you. But like the Phoenix rising from the ashes, this is not about accepting defeat, it’s about rising above and embracing your own personal power.

The Pluto period can be tremendously transformative. But it’s not for the weak of heart. It’s a time of deep introspection and analysis, which requires you to confront your own inner demons.

This is a time of taking stock of your life and figuring out what (and whom) you want to take with you in the next chapter.

Everything else needs to be put firmly to rest.

Moon

Card 2: The Moon

You’re going to be getting more in touch with your feelings during this cycle, and may find yourself going through an entire spectrum of emotional experience.

The Moon is the yin to the Sun’s yang energy. It reflects the Sun’s light and its association with consciousness and will. In this respect, it’s tied to our internal responses (emotions and reactions) to what’s going on in the outside world.

You may be feeling more self-protective and introspective during this period. You may be feeling more sensitive and vulnerable. And you may find yourself longing for the comforts of home, your childhood and your past.

This is a good time to work on relationships with loved ones and family members. It’s a time for healing old rifts, putting old resentments behind you and offering forgiveness to those who may have hurt you along the way. Nurture yourself and loved ones during this period if you want to take full advantage of the blessings of the Moon.

Neptune

Card 3: Neptune

This is a time of increased psychic awareness and heightened intuition. It’s a time for tapping into the messages of your subconscious, from which all psychic impressions arise.

Neptune is the planet tied to Universal consciousness. It’s about embracing the qualities that bring us all together as one.

During this period, you may find yourself experiencing profound instances or déjà vu or synchronicity. You may have the sense that you’ve been here before or have met someone that will be instrumental to you in life-altering ways.

You may also be experiencing bursts of creativity and inspiration. As Neptune is tied to the collective unconscious, it connects people together through inspirational forms of self-expression — art, music, poetry, dance — communications that transcend language and cultural barriers.

Pay attention to your dreams during this time and look around you for miracles in your day to day life. This is the time for counting your blessings and sharing those blessings with others.

Uranus

 Card 4: Uranus

This period should see you beginning to more fully express (and embrace) your own individuality.

Uranus is the planet of non-conformity and rebellion. It encourages you to look at things from a different perspective and to put your own unique imprint on everything you touch.

This is a time of striving for independence and autonomy. It’s a time for breaking free from status quo expectations. You may also be resistant to external restrictions or limitations — especially those imposed on you by society at large.

At the same time you’re going to feel a need to champion for the underdog: for those who’ve been oppressed, mistreated or marginalized by others.

Uranus is all about flying your freak flag and honoring the same same in others. And while you may need to prepare yourself for some unexpected twists and turns, no one is better able to handle those than you.

Card 5: The SunSun

It’s time for you to come out of your shell and show the rest of the world what you’re made of!

The Sun is all about self-expression, creativity, personality and identity. It’s about following your heart and putting your best foot forward. It’s about letting your true Self shine in all its brilliant and resplendent glory.

You should be feeling more confident and “alive” during this period. More in touch with who you are as a person and how you want to express yourself to the outer world. You should be feeling more playful and creative, more dynamic and expressive, and more willing to put yourself out there and let the chips fall where they may.

You do want to keep your ego in check though. The Sun shines so brightly that it can inadvertently overpower everything (and everyone) else. Don’t forget those who’ve helped you and remember that a little bit of humility can go a long ways.

mercury-85

 Card 6: Mercury

You have a lot of say right now and a compelling urge to say it. Mercury is the planet of communications and ideas. It encourages you to gather your thoughts and express them to others, whether that means face-to-face through one-on-one communications, or via the written word.

This is a time for connecting with others. Sharing ideas. Brainstorming, fact-gathering and hypothesizing. Letting others know what you think and listening to what they have to say.

You may be spending time journaling during this period, writing music or poetry, publishing a blog or even writing a book. You may also be expressing yourself verbally, as in teaching, lecturing or counseling others.

Interactions are key. You can’t “have something to say” unless there’s someone to say it to, and you can’t learn anything new if you’re busy talking to yourself. Say what’s on your mind and make yourself be heard, but make sure you’re also giving everyone else a chance to get a word in edgewise.

mars-85

Card 7: Mars

It’s time for you to step up and be bold: take chances that you may have been reluctant to take in the past and be willing to put yourself and what you stand for on the line.

Mars is the planet of action, energy, passion and drive. It’s a fearless warrior energy that is capable of risking everything if need be and backing down for nothing (or no one).

It’s dynamic and assertive, courageous and brave. It’s willing to fight for what it believes in and defend itself vehemently against what it does not.

During this period you’re likely to feel more confident and daring. It’s a good time to initiate projects or take on a leadership role.

In its purest form, Mars can be impatient, angry and aggressive. It can also be downright reckless. So it may serve you to temper some of that energy with discipline and control. But it’s not the time to be passive or compliant. This is more about standing up for your convictions and refusing to admit defeat.

Venus

 Card 8: Venus

Love is in the air for you this period, as is peace, harmony, companionship and cooperation with others.

This is a time for discovering the beauty all around you. Finding it in nature, music, art and your surrounding — as well as looking in the mirror and finding it in yourself.

As the counterpart to Mars, Venus represents the softer, gentler side of interacting with others. It’s about being receptive and cooperative as opposed to being aggressive and direct. It’s about making people feel comfortable, included and supported. It’s about making love and not war.

You may feel like trying your hand at something creative during this period. Especially in areas associated with the arts, design, fashion or beauty.

It’s a good time to work on creating a harmonious environment in your home or workplace, get a makeover, start a fitness regimen or enhance your physical appearance. And it’s a great time to work on your relationships or attract someone new into your life.

Jupiter

Card 9: Jupiter

You may feeling like you’re on top of the world during this period.

Jupiter is related to self-expansion, growth and personal evolution. It’s optimistic, inspirational and philosophical. It speaks of stepping outside of your comfort zone and looking for meaning in the world around you.

It’s about cultivating a heightened awareness and embracing new experiences. It’s joyful and benevolent. It’s about opening your eyes and seeing things you may have seen a million times before as if for the very first time.

You may thinking about taking a trip or going back to school or embarking on a spiritual journey. You may also be realizing that you have something to teach to others, as Jupiter also represents the dissemination of information.

This is a time of expanding your personal horizons. It’s a time of putting your faith in the Universe, knowing that everything you put out there will be mirrored right back to you in kind.

Saturn

Card 10: Saturn

This period is going to be all about finding your place in the  world and climbing your way to the top.

You’re keenly aware of how much time, discipline and dedication this involves and are no stranger to all that that entails.

The good news is that this period should see you gaining recognition for your achievements. It should result in more admiration and validation from others. The not so good news is that it will also mean more responsibility and even more work.

This is not the time to slack off or act irresponsibly. It’s a time for meeting challenges head on and showing the rest of the world how much you’re capable of accomplishing.

Saturn is known as the Lord of Karma, which means that in the end you will be rewarded for efforts — for better or worse. This means you need to be as cautious about taking shortcuts as you are diligent about doing a thorough job.
