Here is the Psychic Scoop Weekly Astrology Forecast for the week of Sept 15 – Sept 21, 20255:
This week starts on Monday with the Moon void of course in Gemini and moving into Cancer in the early morning hours. It’s a relatively uneventful Moon for most of the day, but there is a square to Neptune, which can see you feeling both overly sensitive and confused about what you’re feeling. Or why you’re feeling what you’re feeling.
The Moon is at home in Cancer, the sign it rules. But the square to Neptune can distort things and have you questioning whether the signals that you’re picking up from others are real. Alternately, you might find that people are misinterpreting signals that you’re putting out. This wouldn’t be a good time to call someone out for hurting your feelings, as chances are good that you’re viewing everything during this time through a hyper-personal lens.
All these feelings of confusion and uncertainty get a helping hand in the form of a Venus / Mars sextile, which is exact on Tuesday. This aspect is known for bringing love and romance to the forefront. This transit is all about going with the flow and staying in sync with your loved ones. It’s good for attracting new people into your life and for collaborating rather than putting up resistance.
Venus also trines Chiron on Tuesday. This Transit can see you becoming more aware of your own capacity for giving and for being able to put yourself in other people’s shoes. This is a charitable aspect that compels you to reach into the very depths of your soul — where compassion, forgiveness, and understanding all reside — and bring forth that which is within you, so you can pass it along to others.
But while Venus is trining Chiron, Mars is busy opposing it. And that aspect can manifest as an uncomfortable disconnect between the desire to be self-serving and the urge to self-sacrifice. On one hand (Mars) you want to assert yourself and satisfy your own needs. And on the other (Chiron), you understand that there are people who are suffering and doing without. You’ll have to reconcile these two competing urges; getting involved in (or heading up) a community event — where you can see yourself making a difference — is a good place to start.
There’s a Mercury opposition to Saturn on Wednesday. This can be a bit of a downer or a rain on your parade aspect, with the planet ruling thoughts and ideas (Mercury) in conflict with the planet ruling restrictions and limitations. It can manifest as an existential crisis, but only if you let it. Since oppositions are always about “forced integration,” consider ways to satisfy both of these energies.
Saturn opposite Mercury can see you questioning the value of your ideas. You may feel more self-conscious during this time, or more hesitant to put yourself out there. But by integrating these energies — as in clearing out the cobwebs in your mind and making informed, practical decisions — you can get a lot accomplished.
Mercury moves into Libra and then opposes Neptune in Aries on Thursday. Mercury in Libra paves the way for pleasant conversation and social interactions. It’s objective, impartial and fair. It’s good at exercising tact and diplomacy, but not so good at making decisions. You may feel the need to weigh the pros and cons of every situation before you reach a conclusion, and even then you’re likely to settle on a middle ground.
Mercury in Libra — especially at 0 degrees — is known to struggle with indecision. It tends to vacillate or straddle the fence rather than take a stand. It’s good for debating and arbitrating, as it enables one to see the validity in both sides of an argument. But it can also be frustratingly wishy-washy. Add in the opposition to Neptune, and it can be naive, gullible and easily confused.
Venus enters Virgo and moves into mutual reception with Mercury on Friday. Even though Venus is debilitated in cool, calm and hyper-critical Virgo, this marks a great time for focusing on work and productivity. It’s good for working on yourself as well — as in changes to your physical appearance, starting a new diet or exercise regimen, diving into self-help books, and taking care of your health.
Venus in Virgo is incredibly autonomous, so think about what you may have relied on others for in the past that you’re capable of tackling on your own. This doesn’t mean you need to shy away from partnerships: in fact this placement is right at home when it comes to doting on and taking care of others. But it’s a good time to think about the things you’ve been wanting to do to improve and enrich your own life, and then setting about to do them.
Also on Friday, there’s a Grand Air Trine involving Mercury, Uranus and Pluto. This configuration should be excellent for brainstorming and thinking outside the box. These three planets, all in air signs, bring insight, innovation and ingenuity to the hello oh that’s weirdforefront. This is an excellent transit for negotiating change, especially with respect to group activities and community or humanitarian efforts.
Venus squares Uranus on Saturday. This transit can put a strain on a relationship by pitting your need for freedom and independence (Uranus) against your desire to connect intimately with another (Venus). This aspect underscores the potential for missing (or misreading) critical social cues.
This Transit can indicate conflicts erupting— from seemingly out of nowhere — in both your personal relationships and your interactions with others. This aspect pits the urge to merge against the desire for freedom and independence, so you could see yourself on a completely different page from your loved ones. As with all conflicting aspects, the key to rebalancing this energy lies in adjusting your own perceptions and adapting your approach.
As we wind down the week, on Sunday, there’s a New Moon Solar Eclipse at 29° Virgo 05′. This takes place at 7:53 p.m. UT (or 3:53 p.m. EDT). This is a partial solar eclipse that will be visible in the Southern Hemisphere, including parts of eastern Australia, New Zealand and the South Pacific.
As Eclipses are known to expose things that have previously been hidden, this can represent a time where duplicity and deception are revealed. We’re likely to have our belief systems tested and to find ourselves challenging the same in others.
With this eclipse occurring at an anaretic degree, and with Saturn opposing both the sun and moon during this time, you may feel the need to challenge authority and question those who we feel have misled us or duped us into believing something that turns out to be little more than smoke and mirrors.
Those that we’ve idolized or placed on pedestals may come crashing down as we find ourselves questioning what we may have blindly believed in in the past. At the same time, gifts and talents you may have overlooked in others in the past may reveal themselves in unexpected ways.
The New Moon each month brings opportunities to start anew, and this month with it falling in Virgo — the sign associated with health, work and self-improvement — the emphasis should be on where you can focus on refining yourself, your physical well-being, and your professional calling.
That’s it for this week. See you next week!
