Weekly Astrology Forecast

That sounds very goodHere is the Psychic Scoop Weekly Astrology Forecast for the week of May 26, 2025 – June 1, 2025:

Mercury moves into Gemini on Monday, sextiling both Neptune and Saturn in the early morning hours. Mercury is dignified in Gemini, the sign that it co-rules with Virgo. Mercury in Gemini is curious, adaptable,  and changeable. It’s an excellent multitasker, with a penchant for gathering facts and information. It’s also restless and very easily bored.

The sextile to Saturn is good for organizing your thoughts and being productive. It’s focused, rational and sensible. It likes to make lists and follow the rules. The Neptune portion of this configuration can soften some of the strictness that’s usually present with Saturn / Mercury aspects, and add a bit of an idealistic flair.

On Tuesday, Mercury moves ahead to trine Pluto — with Neptune at the midpoint — forming a planetary picture. This aspect reinforces the Neptune / Pluto sextile that’s been in play for several years, as well as the Mercury / Neptune sextile, which was exact on Monday. Mercury and Pluto aspects are excellent for digging deep and ferreting out hidden information. It’s good for doing research and looking for obscure clues. It’s also good for deep, soulful, meaningful conversations that get to the heart of the matter.

It can ease the way to compromise and communication. It’s great for putting your head together with like-minded people and having some lively—albeit potentially heated—conversations. This aspect is all about deep thoughts and penetrating insights. But you don’t want to keep these to yourself. The sextile speaks of joining hands with others and sharing information that causes you to stop and think.

Also on Tuesday, there’s a New Moon at 6° Gemini 06′. As New Moons always represent new beginnings and opportunities to start anew, this one presents opportunities for gathering facts, communicating ideas, and interacting with others.

Gemini is a dual sign, naturally prone to emotional twists and turns. It’s about being flexible and deftly juggling interests and opportunities.

The Gemini New Moon is adept at flitting from one interest to another, assimilating information and interacting with others. It’s good for communicating your ideas — in person or on paper — and also good for brushing up on your studies.

By Wednesday, with the Moon still in Gemini, we’ll have five planets in their signs and another five (counting Chiron) in Fire. That’s a lot of masculine energy, which is associated astrologically with action and vitality, rather than anything we might consider “manly.”

At this point, with almost everything in Fire and Air, only one planet (Uranus) occupying an Earth sign and no planets in Water, our collective focus is going to be more idea- and action-oriented than anything else.  As the one Earth planet, Uranus, tends to balk at consistency and is known for breaking up monotony, we’re not likely to be craving stability. And with no planets in Water, we’re probably not going to be seeking out emotional connections.

The one exception to this would be the Moon, which moves into Cancer on Thursday. The only hard aspect the Moon makes on this day is a square to Venus, which is debilitated in Aries. The Moon in Cancer brings the focus back to areas like home, family, heritage and security issues, which are most likely to be affected. As such, you want to be aware of the potential for misunderstandings during this time, or for words taken out of context, which can end up hurting people’s feelings.

In general, though, this is an excellent placement for the Moon, which is right at home in Cancer (the sign it rules). The Moon in Cancer is loving, caring, intuitive and compassionate. It’s a highly impressionable Moon that can sometimes be too emotional. As the only Water sign placement though, it can bring some much-needed sensitivity to mix.

The Sun conjuncts Mercury on Friday. This is a Superior conjunction, with Mercury on the other side of the Sun. The close conjunction is known as combust, or when it’s this close to exact, cazimi (in the heart of the Sun).  A cazimi planet’s influence is said to be heightened and energized by the Sun, but because from our viewpoint it’s obscured by the Sun’s rays, that influence may be temporarily weakened.

A Sun / Mercury conjunction is generally very positive, especially with respect to interacting and communicating with others, sharing ideas, and gathering information. In a natal chart, it describes an individual who is a thinker and a communicator. It indicates intellect and mental acuity. The transiting Sun / Mercury conjunction brings those qualities to the forefront.

On Saturday, the Moon moves into Leo, bringing the number of plants in Fire signs to six! That Leo Moon opposes Pluto early in the day and then sextiles the Sun and Mercury later on. This is generally a very dynamic lunar placement, as Leo is the sign associated with warmth, generosity, vitality, and personal charisma. The emphasis is on reveling in the moment, embracing life to the fullest, and setting your worries aside long enough to bask in the light of the day.

But the opposition to Pluto can indicate conflicts and power struggles, among other things. Especially since that same Leo Moon can be self-important and forceful when challenged. If you’re sensing tension from others during this time, your best bet is to disengage — at least until later in the day when the Moon moves ahead to sextile the Sun and Mercury.

The Moon moves up to conjunct Mars on Sunday, just as Venus forms a conjunction with Chiron. Starting with the Moon / Mars aspect — especially in fiery Leo — this transit is all about energy, action and adventure. It’s about being on the verge of something new and exciting, knowing that the anticipation is just as exhilarating as the adventure itself.

The Venus / Chiron transit should see you becoming more aware of your capacity for giving and for putting yourself in other people’s shoes. This charitable aspect compels you to reach into the very depths of your soul — where compassion, forgiveness and understanding all reside — and bring forth that which is within you, but you can pass it onto others.

That’s it for this week. See you next week!
