Here is the Psychic Scoop Weekly Astrology Forecast for the week of May 19, 2025 – May 25, 2025:
As we start this week, on Monday, the Moon is in aloof and impersonal Aquarius, a fixed air sign associated with independence, open-mindedness and innovation. The Moon in the sign associated with friends and associates — Aquarius — will generally indicate an excellent time for connecting and interacting with others. But this one is complicated by its role in a t-square involving Mercury and Mars.
Mercury is all about communications and ideas, while Mars is action, energy, and drive — all commendable traits. But when you pit them against the Moon (feelings, emotions, and sensitivities), they can bring out the more unsavory impulses related to these planets, like anger, aggression and impatience.
Fortunately, the Aquarius Moon interacts favorably with Venus, Chiron, and Jupiter before the day ends. These transits emphasize humanitarian goals and ideals. Together, they’re associated with freedom, independence, and autonomy, recognizing that there is a place in the world for all of us and that we each have something unique to contribute. They also emphasize progress, liberation, and individuality.
On Tuesday, the Sun enters Gemini. Astrologically, it represents the Sun (ego, will, Self, etc) entering the sign of the Twins (Gemini), the archetype known for its desire to gather information, whether it’s through educational endeavors, personal experiences, or social interactions. It’s curious, restless, and changeable. It’s a collector of facts, details and information, especially those of the left-brained variety, commonly with interests in areas like math, science, and technology. But it’s also very youthful and fashionable — even trendy — with a quick wit and a light-hearted, playful demeanor. That’s the Sun in Gemini.
While the Sun moves through Gemini, for about a month every year between May 21 and June 21, Spring is in the air (for those in the Northern Hemisphere), flowers are blooming, and the nights are getting longer. It’s generally a carefree time with lots of socializing and interacting with others. This is all fitting for the Gemini archetype, which relishes variety and change. For those in the Southern Hemisphere, the weather is generally still pleasant, with abundant opportunities to explore.
Wednesday’s Pisces Moon is a loving, compassionate, creative and highly impressionable Moon. It can increase psychic awareness and make you more susceptible to outside influences. It’s a mystical and ethereal Moon placement, but can also be incredibly naive. It’s not good at filtering out negative or harmful information, and can therefore be easily deceived.
As this Pisces Moon is largely unaspected throughout the day, we’re likely to experience it and its purest, most uncomplicated essence. You can activate the compassionate, sensitive, otherworldly characteristics of this Moon through journaling, meditation, getting in touch with your psychic impressions, and reflecting on your innermost dreams and desires.
On Thursday, the Sun sextiles Neptune while Venus trines Mars. Starting out with the Sun / Neptune aspect, you may find that you’re more sensitive to outside influences and also more susceptible to psychic impressions. This could be reinforced by the fact that both planets are at the 1st degree of their respective signs. This can indicate a need to work through early childhood traumas to bolster your self-esteem. Neptune encourages you to heed your inner voice and set aside your limitations, especially those that have been self-imposed.
The Venus / Mars trine brings love and romance to the forefront. This transit is all about going with the flow and staying in sync with your loved ones. It’s good for attracting new people into your life and for collaborating with others. As this a fire sign trine, the energy is more ardent and passionate, but the emphasis is on collaboration and cooperation rather than resistance.
Mercury sextiles the North Node on Friday (thus automatically trining the South Node). This transit is all about developing a comfortable rapport with others. It’s about generating a meeting of the minds and communing with those who are on the same page. It also indicates a need for cooperation and compromise, which is especially important since the Nodes always emphasize meaningful and potentially karmic connections with others.
Moving ahead to Saturday, Mercury conjuncts Uranus while the Sun trines Pluto. The Mercury / Uranus portion of this configuration is great for brainstorming and thinking outside the box. As Uranus is the higher octave of Mercury, bringing them together in a harmonious (trine) aspect allows for a much more natural route to that higher consciousness.
The Sun / Mercury trine is all about harnessing your personal power and channeling it in productive and transformative ways. It’s excellent for discussing your long-term goals with others since both of these planets are in Air signs. It can also be used to make positive changes in yourself, as in how you wish to present yourself to the outer world and how you want to be perceived.
Saturn leaves Pisces and moves into Aries, for the first time since 1999, on Sunday. Saturn is associated with discipline, perseverance and time, among many other things. Things like hard work, persistence and endurance. In its highest form, it’s associated with wisdom, acumen and experience, but it’s also associated with many of life’s more challenging considerations, such as obstacles and limitations, fears and inhibitions, and doubts and insecurities.
We’ve seen some of this over the last 2-1/2 years, while Saturn was moving through Pisces — the sign associated with intuition, compassion, understanding, inclusiveness, selflessness, interconnectedness and spiritual ideals. As Pisces is a mutable sign, we’ve seen some divisiveness, with one segment of humanity striving to embody and /or accept these elements (Saturn in Pisces), and another segment fearing and resisting them (also Saturn in Pisces).
Saturn in Aries — where it will remain until the end of August when it retrogrades back into Pisces for a few months (until mid-February 2026), marks a period of course correction, where people are likely to become emboldened to fight for what they believe in. We may start to see less tolerance and inclusivity, but we’re just as likely to see more people fighting for the right to be who they need to be.
There’s a lot of intrinsic warrior energy associated with Saturn in Aries, some of it powerfully progressive (such as NASA’s mission to Mars, pagers and camera phones, digital currency and cloning the first sheep) and some of it terrifyingly destructive (such as the Unabomber, Oklahoma City bombing, Columbine High School massacre, etc.), all of which took place during the last Saturn in Aries cycle). It’s going to be up to us to choose how to actualize this particular Saturn in Aries transit, and hopefully we choose well.
That’s it for this week. See you next week!
