Here is the Psychic Scoop Weekly Astrology Forecast for the week of June 30, 2025 – July 6, 2025:
As we start the week on Monday, every planet except for Pluto is besieged between Saturn and Mars. As a result, there may be areas in your life — in all of our lives — where it feels as though all of our efforts are being met with resistance. Although some classical astrologers specify this as valid only when Mars is applying to Saturn, it may be important to watch how this manifests in the world around us.
At the same time all planets — again aside from Pluto — are contained within what is known as the Draconic Bowl, or within the confines of the lunar nodes. This is indicative of a period of time where external events, as in those happening around you — in your neighborhood, your community, your country and the world at large — are likely to have a deeper, more meaningful and personal impact on you.
Although Pluto is outside of both of these configurations, that doesn’t mean that it’s any less important. As it’s the higher Octave of Mars and in mutual reception with Saturn, it may be just as significant and may even act as the saving grace for both.
Also on Monday, Mercury semi-sextiles Jupiter. This 30° aspect tends to act as an instrument of transition from one sign archetype to the next, in this case Cancer and Leo. As a result, this one can see you striving to step outside of your comfort zone (Cancer) and show the rest of the world what you’re made of (Leo). Because the planets involved are Mercury and Jupiter, communications will be key. You might choose to boldly express something you’ve been keeping to yourself, or make yourself be heard in other ways.
We have another semi-sextile on Tuesday, this one involving Venus and Chiron. As Venus is separating from Chiron, the goal here is to take what you’ve learned through giving of yourself to others, and bring it back home to you. All that unconditional love that Venus is famous for doesn’t have to be spread thin. It doesn’t have to be doled out to only to others, save some for yourself.
Wednesday’s first quarter Moon takes place at 11° Libra, with the Sun on Jupiter’s North Node. The first quarter Moon signifies the time for checking in on progress that has been made since the New Moon a week ago. If you set something in motion at the onset of the New Moon, now’s the time to reassess. Now is the time to look at any changes need to be made and make them. With the Sun on Jupiter’s North Node, you could be excited about dusting off some long forgotten project and giving it another go. But with the Moon going void shortly after she reaches her first quarter, it’s probably best to wait.
The Libra Moon is known for fairness and objectivity, with emphasis on sharing and exchanging ideas. It’s good for social interactions that call for cooperation and collaboration, as it strives for balance and harmony. But it goes void of course around 7:30 p.m. UT and remains as such until Friday morning! Because of this, it’s not the best time to set something new in motion or to make any kind of concrete plans.
On Thursday, the planet Earth reaches aphelion, or it’s furthest distance from the Sun. This happens once a year, due to the elongation of Earth’s orbit. It reaches that point every year around this time, give or take a few days; just like it reaches perihelion (closest to the Sun) in early January of every year.
So where exactly is the planet Earth (astrologically)? As the Sun is always opposite the planet Earth (from our geocentric perspective), and the Sun on this date is at 11° Cancer, the planet Earth will be at 11° Capricorn, which is on Jupiter’s South Node. With the Sun on Jupiter’s North Node and the planet Earth on Jupiter’s South Node, this could be a time for increased interest in and exposure to global news, foreign affairs, cultural differences and varying ideologies.
Venus conjuncts Uranus on Friday, with both planets at the 29th or anaretic degree, just before Venus moves into Gemini. This Transit is all about establishing your own unique role in relationship. It’s about forging your own path and defining your own concept of relationship, without worrying about status quo expectations. Especially because this conjunction occurs at a powerful (anaretic) degree.
It can bring someone new in, too — a sudden attraction to someone who goes against “type” and can manifest as love at first sight whirlwind romance. Venus and Uranus together can be exciting but somewhat erratic. So stay in the moment rather than projecting any long-term ideals onto a relationship that ignites during this transit.
Venus will then leave Taurus and move into Gemini, where will remain for the next 28 days. Venus is the esoteric ruler of Gemini, as the catalyst through which the concept of “Love” first emerges — through connecting, interacting and most importantly communicating with others. Venus in Gemini is playful, curious and spontaneous. It’s a feminine planet in a dual sign, which means it can also be restless, changeable and fickle in the relationship department. You haven’t yet
Also on Friday, Neptune go stationery retrograde as it begins its trek back into Pisces. As Neptune is the natural ruler of Pisces, this alone could send you one step closer to Nirvana. But don’t get your hopes up: Neptune won’t move back into Pisces until the end of October. It will remain retrograde in Aries, from 2° – 0° as it makes its way slowly back. Why so slow? Because Neptune takes 165 years to go around the Sun one time it can remain in the same degree for several weeks.
As with all retrogrades, the planetary energy is turned inward, which in the case of Neptune can open up your psychic pathways and make it easier to access the collective unconscious. And while Neptune influences are sensitive, compassionate, idealistic and altruistic, they can also be unrealistic and delusional. With Neptune and Aries, the potentials for people to fight for what they believe in and to be aggressive about pursuing their dreams are indicated.
Each year, Neptune spends about 5 months in retrograde motion and the other 7 months moving forward. This time it moves back to 29° Pisces it goes direct on December 9th. It doesn’t cross its shadow point (the degree at which it first went retrograde, in this case 2° Aries) until the end of March in 2026. Even though Neptune has only been in Aries for a short period of time (and once it leaves it won’t be back until late January, 2026), its passage through this sign should see us exploring more advanced spiritual ideals and belief systems and taking a more assertive approach to pursuing our ideals.
Saturday’s Scorpio Moon squares Mercury and sextiles Mars. The Moon / Mars portion of this configuration works very well together, with Mars in Virgo “holding hands” with the Moon in Scorpio. This aspect is excellent for doing research and for any kind of highly detailed work. It’s not the most sociable Moon, but it’s great for tackling any kind of project that requires intense hyper-focused analysis.
However, the Moon / Mercury portion of this configuration can be volatile. This transit can be volatile and can lead to actions and decisions that can’t be taken back later. Choose your relationship battles wisely during this time — or better yet choose not to do battle at all.
At the end of the week, on Sunday, we have Venus sextiling both Saturn and Neptune. The sextile to Saturn can influence how you view your love life and relationships. It encourages a serious look at your role in relationships and whether your needs are being met. While it provides clarity about the reality of your relationships, it can also lead to focusing on what’s missing.
But the Neptune portion of this configuration is more idealistic (and less realistic). As Neptune is a higher octave of Venus, this transit seeks to bring you together with like-minded people, are those who share the same interests — in things like music, romance, dreams and psychic connections. It’s a kind and compassionate signature that can soften some of the pensive energy associated with the aforementioned Saturn sextile.
That’s it for this week. See you next week!
