Weekly Astrology Forecast

Here is the Psychic Scoop Weekly Astrology Forecast for the week of June 16, 2025 – June 22, 2025:

Mars is at 29° Leo — an anaretic degree — and conjunct the fixed star Regulus as we start this week on Monday. The 29th (anaretic) degree of any sign is a critical degree, usually seen as a transcendent or culminating degree. It could manifest as a sense of urgency to get act, to get things done, to finish things up, or to tie up loose ends. As Mars is known for being daring, brave and sometimes forceful, and Leo wants to be noticed, this transit can see you (or someone in your orbit) wanting to make their mark in a big big way.

Regulus is the brightest star in the Leo constellation, also known as Cor Leonis, or the Heart of the Lion. It’s also one of the four so-called Royal Stars , along with Aldebaran, Antares, and Fomalhaut. Regulus is known as the Watcher of the North and is associated with the Archangel Gabriel as well as the Summer Solstice, which starts on Saturday. The Mars / Regulus conjunction is associated with courage, honor and leadership, qualities that all of us would like to see a little more of.

Mars leaves Leo behind and crosses over into Virgo on Tuesday. Mars in Virgo likes to focus on making things better. The emphasis is on self-improvement (and improvement in general), which means that any flaws or imperfections get noticed right away. It can be critical and nitpicky, but is an excellent placement for those invested in getting the job done.

This transit can see you ready to put your nose to the grindstone and make great strides toward completing half-finished projects. It’s suitable for taking on highly detailed (and potentially monotonous) work, laying the groundwork for a project that will need to come together in stages, or just in general, building a better mousetrap.

The Sun also sextiles Chiron on Tuesday, bringing with it a greater ability to put yourself in someone else’s shoes and feel what they feel (or draw on your own memories of times when you felt victimized or marginalized in some way). Because of this, you may be more compassionate toward other people’s weaknesses and help them overcome them, even as you struggle to overcome your own.

By Wednesday, we have another planet moving into an anaretic degree; this time it’s Uranus at 29° Taurus, as It prepares to leave Taurus if there’s one thing might not least did not lack it was tips in the year after Anita’s murder they tracked them down by the dozensand move into Gemini (which it will on July 7th). Because Uranus moves relatively slowly (it takes approximately 84 years to make one trip around the Sun), it will remain at this anorexic degree for the next 3 weeks. It’s still involved in a tight 90° (square) aspect with Mars, even though Mars has now changed signs, potentially softening the intensity of that aspect somewhat.

With Mars and Uranus both at critical degrees — Mars at 0° and Uranus at 29° — and in hard aspect with one another, we may bear witness to lots of intense emotional volatility during this time. This is a bit of a powder keg aspect, as both of these planets are prone to aggression, impatient, and a willingness to fight for what they believe in. Keep this in mind when someone tries to push your buttons during this time, as there’s unlikely to be any winners.

On Thursday, the Moon and Jupiter are in mutual reception, with each planet posited in the sign that the other rules. The Moon in Pisces and Jupiter in  Cancer work very well together, as both are in feminine, highly impressionable Water signs. Jupiter is also exalted in Cancer, which adds another layer to this sensitive, mystical, otherworldly combination.

Also on Thursday, Jupiter squares Neptune, with the Moon moving into Aries shortly thereafter and joining in. With the Jupiter / Neptune Square, there’s an urge to break through the monotony and ponder more spiritual or philosophical pursuits. While there is also a potential to become disenchanted or disillusioned with this combination, your best bet is to find a middle ground and get these seemingly divergent energies working together.

Friday’s Aries Moon squares Mercury and sextiles the Sun, which by this time — at 29° Gemini — will become the third planet this week to occupy an anaretic degree. Uranus, at 29° Taurus, is at the midpoint of this configuration. The Gemini Sun / Aries Moon combo is spontaneous and adventuresome, and is generally always up for a good time. When you throw in Uranus, you might as well add innovative, insightful and progressive to the mix.

But Uranus can also be rebellious and provocative. While it’s known for thinking outside the box, it’s just as famous for stirring the pot, which, as part of the Moon / Mercury / Sun / Uranus planetary picture, it’s more likely to do. Over the next 24 hours, you may encounter some very opinionated people, or you may find yourself getting a little more rigid about your own progressive ideas. It’s a good time to think about marching to the beat of your own drum, but try to tone down any inclination to be rebellious or defiant.

On Saturday, the Moon leaves Aquarius and moves into Pisces, just as the Sun enters Cancer, marking the onset of the Summer Solstice and longest day of the year. This is measured by the amount of time between Sunrise and Sunset for those in the Northern Hemisphere; it’s exactly the opposite (Winter Solstice and shortest day of the year) for those in the Southern Hemisphere.

When we think of the Sun, we think of warmth, light and life. It warms our spirits as well as our bodies; it brightens our moods as well as the outside world, and it brings life to our dreams and goals as well as to every living thing on the planet. But put it in sensitive, loving, romantic Cancer, you know that emotions are going to come into play. This is especially pronounced with Mars also in Cancer, as well as the Pisces Moon.

As the week comes to an end, on Sunday, Mars sextiles Jupiter while the Sun squares Saturn. These transits may seem contradictory, as the Mars / Jupiter aspect is known for being upbeat, optimistic and enthusiastic, while the Sun square Saturn is usually anything but. In generalany combination of Mars and Jupiter brings with it an abundance of energy and enthusiasm. It inspires us to think about travel, adventure, spirituality, philosophy and higher mind pursuits. It takes us out of our comfort zones and gets us thinking about how the other half lives.

But the Sun / Saturn square might decide to rain a bit on your parade. It can signify a sense of feeling trapped or prohibited from accomplishing your goals. It represents limitations, obstacles and restrictions and may see you feeling like “what’s the use” with one roadblock after another standing in your way. But shake it off or ride it out — this is a short-lived transit that generally feels much heavier than it actually is.
