Here is the Psychic Scoop Weekly Astrology Forecast for the week of July 7, 2025 – July 13, 2025:
We start this week with a bang on Monday, with Uranus — the planet associated with excitement, rebellion, nonconformity and change — leaving Taurus behind and moving into Gemini, for the first time in almost 84 years. The last time Uranus moved through Gemini — between 1941 and 1949 — coincided with a period of great civil and global unrest (there were several major wars during this time, most significantly, World War II) but also a period of important humanitarian efforts, progress, and change. These are all associated with Uranus, which not only governs activism, individuation, and rebelliousness but is also strongly linked to evolution, humanitarian causes, and social change.
Uranus’ ingress into Gemini conjuncts the fixed star Alcyone, which is the brightest star in the Pleiades. The seven brightest stars in this constellation were named for the Seven Sisters (daughters of Titan) in Greek mythology, with Alcyone the most renowned as she’d born the children of Poseidon. The astrological implications of Uranus conjunct Alcyone are powerful. And it’s higher vibration, it amplifies the Uranian call for social change, but a lower vibration Alcyone / Uranus possibility suggests a more aggressive form of activism, which could lead to social unrest.
Also on Monday, Venus trines Pluto. This transit brings out the urge to merge in people, and it can open you up to meaningful connections with others. Whether these are romantic / sexual in nature or just significant in terms of shared interests and ideals remains to be seen.
This transit brings with it elements of magnetism and charisma, so be prepared to make a lasting impression on those you encounter along the way. And don’t be surprised if a partner or love interest starts trying to get frisky with you. It’s an alluring, seductive aspect that is known for its sex appeal and rarely fails to deliver.
Tuesday’s Sagittarius Moon process is expansive and spirited, with a strong focus on personal and spiritual evolution. As the Moon is associated with feelings, emotions, and security needs, as well as home, family, heritage, and the past, and Sagittarius is associated with freedom, Independence and personal expansion, it may not be easy to reconcile the two seemingly disparate realms. But there’s some help this time by the fact that the Moon and Jupiter are in mutual reception, with each of them posited in the sign that the other one rules.
The Sagittarius Moon always marks a good time to break free from emotional constraints, get out of autopilot, and step outside of our comfort zones. And now is the perfect time to do it. But keep in mind that the Moon is void of course and will remain so until Wednesday morning. You don’t want to initiate anything important during a void Moon, primarily anything financial or business-related, even if you run into a deal that seems to be too good to be true.
The same thing applies to Wednesday, at least until around 8:30 am (UT) when the Moon leaves Sagittarius behind and moves into Capricorn. When the Moon changes sign, it’s no longer void of course, although it’s not the most comfortable in Capricorn. The Moon is debilitated there, as Capricorn is the sign of the Moon’s detriment, although there are many favorable attributes associated with this Moon. There is wisdom and maturity associated with the Capricorn Moon, as well as an ability to organize, prioritize, and simplify. If you can navigate some challenging transits, you can accomplish a great deal.
The Moon first squares Saturn and Neptune, which are now conjunct in Aries. This 90° aspect is not exactly favorable. It spells out confusion, frustration, and potential for making careless mistakes. Next, it opposes Jupiter, which can see you being tempted to overdo things, make promises you might not be able to deliver or bite off more than you can chew.
Speaking of Saturn, it makes its appearance in the evening sky on this day, after having spent the last few months rising in the early hours as a Morning Star. This is known as Saturn’s helical rising, and while Neptune is also there (conjunct Saturn), only Saturn is visible to the naked eye.
On Thursday, we have a Full Moon at 18° Capricorn 50′. The July Full Moon is known as the Full Buck Moon in Native American Traditions — a nod to the showers and thunderstorms that are prevalent at this time of year. It’s also sometimes called the Thunder Moon, Hay Moon or Guru Moon.
The Full Moon each month provides an overview of the progress you’ve made since its New Moon counterpoint earlier in the month. Seeds that were planted then will surely have sprouted; do you need to make adjustments or change your course entirely? Now is the time to think about what you’ve accomplished and where you want to go from here.
Because it’s in Capricorn, it sets the tone for looking at what’s important in your life, and for weeding out what is no longer conducive to your growth. It’s also a time for simplifying: for removing the clutter you’ve accumulated over time, or anything else that might stand in the way of reaching your goals.
Venus semi-sextiles Jupiter on Friday. These two planets together, in almost any configuration, are bound to be pleasant. They’re known as the lesser and greater benefics, because they both tend to represent positive, harmonious events.. And as the semi-sextile (30° aspect) tends to act as an instrument of transition from one sign archetype to the next, we can expect Venus in Gemini semi-sextiling Jupiter in Cancer could be about expressing feelings and sharing dreams and ideals with loved ones.
This transit is optimistic, enthusiastic and benevolent, and can see you feeling so good about yourself that others respond in kind. Those feelings of goodwill are infectious and can result in opportunities that come to you through unexpected channels. Are you thinking about taking a trip abroad? Now is the time to look into airfares and excursions. Or maybe you’re thinking about taking a course or going back to school. This aspect is perfect for offering your intentions up to the Universe and allowing them to take flight.
Saturday’s Aquarius Moon conjuncts Pluto, sextiles Saturn and Neptune, trines Venus, and then finally opposes Mercury before the day is through. In other words, there are several lunar transits to wend your way through on Saturday. In general, the Aquarius Moon emphasizes humanitarian goals and ideals. Aside from the Moon / Mercury opposition most of these are harmonious aspects. And the Moon / Mercury aspect really isn’t so bad. As oppositions always represent forced integration, this one can see you vacillating between logic and sentimentality and needing to find a middle ground.
All the other lunar aspects on this day, including the Moon conjuncting Pluto, complement this Aquarius Moon. Together, they’re associated with freedom, independence, and autonomy, recognizing that there is a place in the world for all of us and that we each have something unique to contribute. They also emphasize progress, liberation, and individuality.
As we end the week, on Sunday, the Sun trines the North Node and Saturn goes stationery retrograde. With respect to the Sun / North Node transit, you may meet new people who turn out to have a long-ranging impact on your life. Or you may see an existing relationship turn an important corner, and evolve into something much more meaningful or profound. As the North and South Nodes are karmic in nature, pay attention to random encounters with others, as they could indicate people who will one day be instrumental to your evolutionary process.
With respect to Saturn turning retrograde: you may be thinking about what (and whom) you want to retain in your life vs. what (or whom) you want to leave behind. You may feel the need to step back and regroup. This can mean ironing out the kinks in a union that’s faltering or bringing someone new in.
Saturn turning retrograde can make things seem a whole lot bleaker than they are. And because this change in direction is more about going back and fixing things than it is about putting them to rest, you’d be much better served to take some time to figure out what you need rather than rushing to judgment. Depending on where this transit is occurring in your natal chart, it can apply do areas that are in need of resolution.
Saturn will retrograde back into Pisces on September 2nd, where it will remain until at least Pisces for the final time on February 14th. But it will change direction and start moving forward again on November 29th.
That’s it for this week. See you next week!
