Here is the Psychic Scoop Weekly Astrology Forecast for the week of July 28, 2025 – August 3, 2025:
This week starts on Monday with Venus in Gemini sextiling Chiron in Aries. With Venus (representing love, relationships, and values) making a harmonious aspect to Chiron (the asteroid/centaur known as the”wounded healer”), there’s an opportunity to focus on self-worth and healing within relationships. This Transit can open us up to the pain and suffering of others that we may otherwise overlook. It brings compassion and understanding to the forefront, making it a little easier to put ourselves in someone else’s shoes.
By the end of the day — close to midnight UT — the Moon will have moved up to 27° Virgo and squared Venus. This aspect is relatively benign, although it can see you briefly trying to find ways to reconcile the disconnect between what you want (Venus) and what you need (the Moon.)
Mercury semisextiles Jupiter on Tuesday. This 30° aspect tends to act as an instrument of transition from one sign archetype to the next, in this case, Cancer and Leo. As a result, this one can see you striving to step outside of your comfort zone (Cancer) and show the rest of the world what you’re made of (Leo).
Because the planets involved are Mercury and Jupiter, communication will be key. You might choose to boldly express something you’ve been keeping to yourself, or make yourself be heard in other ways.
On Wednesday, Chiron goes stationary retrograde. Chiron turning retrograde can see us looking at how some of our own life experiences — including those that have brought us pain — have led us to express more kindness, compassion and understanding toward others.
This is a time of turning inward and accessing previously undiscovered gifts. Often it’s those experiences that have broken us down that lend themselves to our greatest strengths. The retrograde encourages us to look within and to break through some of the traumas that have been holding us back.
Over the next 5 months (while Chiron is retrograde) you may encounter people for whom you turn out to be the best facilitator for their spiritual growth. But the “Physician Heal Thyself” axiom also applies here. It is through helping others that you’re most likely to uncover the solutions to many of your own most pressing problems.
On Thursday, retrograde Mercury conjuncts the Sun. This is an inferior conjunction, with Mercury in between the Earth and Sun. The close conjunction is known as combust, or when it’s this close to exact, cazimi (in the heart of the Sun). A cazimi planet’s influence is said to be heightened and energized by the Sun, but because from our viewpoint it’s obscured by the Sun’s rays, that influence may be temporarily weakened.
A Sun / Mercury conjunction is generally very positive, especially with respect to interacting and communicating with others, sharing ideas, and gathering information. In a natal chart, it describes an individual who is a thinker and a communicator. It indicates intellect and mental acuity. The transiting Sun / Mercury conjunction brings those qualities to the forefront.
Also on Thursday, Venus moves into Cancer and in mutual reception with the Libra Moon. These mutual receptions serve to strengthen the natural influences of the planets involved, uniting them in a collaborative effort. In this case, with Venus in the Moon’s sign and vice versa, the art of persuasion and tactful diplomacy should be greatly enhanced.
Venus squares Saturn and then Neptune on Friday. The square to Saturn can see you feeling prohibited from connecting with a partner or love interest. It represents limitations, obstacles and restrictions and may see you feeling like “what’s the use” with one roadblock after another standing in your way. But shake it off or ride it out — this is a short-lived transit that generally feels much heavier than it actually is.
The Neptune square can translate as unrealistic expectations and wishful thinking — especially regarding romantic interests. You may need to check yourself if you find yourself spending too much time daydreaming or wondering, “What if?” This transit is also prone to flights of fantasy. It can be overly idealistic or downright delusional. This is not the best time to put your stock in others, especially those who haven’t proven themselves or who have engaged in dubious practices in the past.
Mars inconjuncts Chiron while Venus inconjuncts Pluto on Saturday. The Mars / Chiron portion of this transit can trip you up if you get to overthinking or trying too hard to identify your goals. You may be seeking ways to reconcile your spirit warrior energy (Mars) with your wounded healer energy (Chiron).
Because Chiron is in Mars’s sign (Aries) and some would argue that Mars is in Chiron’s, a good way to satisfy these competing urges would be to find a social cause that you can devote yourself to and then throw yourself into it wholeheartedly.
As the weekend winds down, on Sunday, the Moon is void of course in Scorpio until around 6:00 am, when it moves into Sagittarius and in mutual reception with Jupiter. Any aspects involving the Moon are temporary are likely to fly by almost imperceptibly. But that doesn’t mean this period will be uneventful. There are still always transits in play: planets interacting with one another and blending or communicating their unique energies.
While the Moon is void (in other words, from the time it makes the last aspect one sign and its ingress into the next), you might be feeling a bit aimless or like you’re adrift in a sea of uncertainty. But this is always temporary, and in this case, it’s only for a few hours. Remember that the Moon in Sagittarius is a mutual reception with Jupiter in Cancer, which could make for a very pleasant end to the week.
That’s it for this week. See you next week!
