Weekly Astrology Forecast

Here is the Psychic Scoop Weekly Astrology Forecast for the week of Dec 29, 2025 – Jan 4, 2026:

As we start this week, on Monday, the asteroid Juno moves into Capricorn. As Juno is the goddess of partnership and marriage (among many other things), this is the area you’re most likely to put all that you know and all that you’re learning about relationships to the test.

This is a time for taking a serious look at your relationship choices and making the necessary adjustments. If challenges have arisen in this area in recent weeks, you’ll want to look at what changes need to be made. How do you make sure that you’re not spinning your wheels or repeating self-defeating patterns? Because Capricorn is associated with discipline, structure, longevity and tradition, you’ll want to look at how your relationships measure up in each of these areas.

Be careful not to throw the baby out with the bathwater though, especially on Tuesday when Mercury squares Saturn. The Mercury / Saturn square is famously fatalistic. It can be pessimistic or even morose. With Mercury, the planet associated with thoughts, ideas, and communications, in hard aspect to the great task master Saturn, the tendency to focus on problems rather than solutions is strong.

This aspect can also bring feelings of melancholy to the surface. It can manifest as boredom or apathy. It can leave you seeing the glass as half-empty rather than half-full. If you find yourself asking “what’s the use?” or “why even bother?” try to shift your thinking, as this transit can see you wallowing in your own misery.

Mars sextiles the North Node and trines the South Node on Wednesday. This aspect is all about taking an active role in group Interactions and discussions. It’s about cooperation and collaboration. You don’t want to lead and you don’t want to follow: remember that there needs to be a good balance between give and take with this transit.

Mars / Node transits can bring new people into the fold. People who will spur you on to take risks and to let go of your fears. Alternately it may be you giving the pep talks and helping others to reach their full potential. But don’t try to force your views on others or you could wind up alienating them.

On Thursday, Mercury squares Neptune, with both of them at anaretic degrees. The last degree of a given sign, in this case Mercury at 29° Sagittarius and Neptune at 29° Pisces, are called anaretic degrees and are said to be karmic in nature. They represent the culmination of past-life experiences through the progression of each sign, and can manifest as a sense of urgency to tie up loose ends and close the door on the past.

In this case, Neptune is definitely the stronger planet, since Mercury is both debilitated by sign and is occupying one of the signs (Sagittarius) that Neptune rules. At the same time, Neptune is comfortably situated in its own sign. This aspect can make you feel somewhat disoriented or unstable. It can manifest as confusion, uncertainty, suspicion and doubt.

It’s not the best time to sign contracts or lay down any concrete plans. This aspect is best used to tap into your spirituality or creative potential. It’s good for things like dreaming, visualizing and conceptualizing, and not so good for making concrete plans or decisions. Use this time to get in touch with your higher mind interests, and save the nuts-and-bolts (left-brain) activities for another day.

Mercury leaves Sagittarius and moves into Capricorn a bit later on Thursday, leaving us at least temporarily free of all Fire sign energy. Its entrance into Capricorn marks the onset of a time for taking a more serious approach to things and for doing work on yourself. It’s a time for soul-searching and letting go of painful associations. But also a time to make difficult decisions and get very clear about what you’re capable of accomplishing from this point forward.

On Friday, the Sun sextiles the North Node, while Chiron goes stationary direct. The Sun / North Node aspect can bring people in that you’re working through past-life karma with (South Node) or creating new karma with (North Node). Of course these are often one and the same.

Since the Nodes are polar opposites, when the Sun sextiles the North Node, it will automatically trine the South Node, with his karmic in nature. Pay attention to new people coming in during this time, as well as interactions that trigger you emotionally. These harmonious aspects (trine and sextile) should make for pleasant interactions with others, as well as opportunities to work together.

Chiron turning direct marks the onset of a period where you use what you’ve learned through processing your own perceived failures and disappointments to guide others along similar paths. This can be accomplished on a large or small scale, but will come to you naturally through your own capacity for understanding, compassion and forgiveness.

Chiron will remain in direct motion for another eight months, moving through Aries and then just barely stepping into Taurus before it goes retrograde again in August of 2026. You can use this cycle to work on your own soul growth as you learn from your mistakes and heal yourself through the process of healing others.

Venus sextiles the North Node on Saturday, thus simultaneously trining the South Node. This aspect can bring new people into your life who feel familiar and who can be instrumental to your evolutionary process. This aspect is karmic in nature, meaning that the people you meet during this time are here to propel you toward your destiny — and vice versa. Your actions and interactions can have far-reaching repercussions, so make sure you treat the people you meet during this time (and all times) with dignity and respect.

Also on Saturday, we have a Full Moon at 13° Cancer 01′. This one takes place at 10:02 a.m. UTC, or 5:02 a.m. ET. The January Full Moon is known as the Wolf Moon in Native American traditions. This was so named because the cold winters in January meant that food was sparse, bringing the wolves out to howl for food under the light of the Moon.

The Full Moon provides an overview of the progress you’ve made since its New Moon counterpoint earlier this month. Seeds that were planted then will surely have sprouted; do you need to make adjustments or change your course entirely? Now is the time to think about what you’ve accomplished and where you want to go from here.

Because it’s in the sign associated with home, hearth, family and security needs, we can see how harnessing the Full Moon’s promise can lead to some very good things. Tap into this Cancer Full Moon’s energy by spending time with loved ones and family members and reaching out to those who are far away from home.

The Moon, still in Cancer, conjuncts Jupiter on Sunday, bringing the weekend to a fortuitous close. With the Moon at home in Cancer, and Jupiter exalted there, this is an incredibly auspicious pairing. You can step outside and see this beautiful conjunction for yourself if you look directly overhead around midnight. As the Moon is still relatively full at this point, this conjunction should be visible up until almost 8:00 a.m. UTC, or 3:00 a.m. Eastern time.

That’s it for this week. See you next week!
