Here is the Psychic Scoop Weekly Astrology Forecast for the week of Aug 4 – Aug 10, 2025:
As we start this week, on Monday, there’s a semi-sextile between the Sun and Jupiter. The semi-sextile — 30° aspect — facilitates the transition from one sign archetype to the next, in this case, from Cancer to Leo. As a result, this makes for a good time to step outside your comfort zone (Cancer) and show the rest of the world what you’re made of (Leo).
Both of these planets are dignified by sign, with the Sun in the sign it rules and Jupiter in the sign of its exaltation. These are also the two largest bodies, exerting the greatest force. With the Sun and Jupiter in play, it’s a good time to make big moves and expand your personal horizons.
There’s another semi-sextile on Tuesday; as Mercury semi-sextiles Venus, also transitioning from Cancer to Leo. This aspect emphasizes kindness, compassion, and empathy, and — especially since these planets are also in mutual reception — social interactions. As semi-sextiles act as instruments of transition from one sign archetype to the next, this one may prompt you to change direction in your relationships with others or invite new friends into your social circle.
Keeping in mind that Mercury is still retrograde and still reminding us to look before we leap, this is not the best time to start a new relationship. However, it’s excellent for addressing issues that arise and ironing out the details. With Mercury and Venus holding hands, this is a good time to work on getting in touch with your feelings and putting them into words.
Mars leaves Virgo behind and moves into Libra on Wednesday, where it will remain for the next 6 weeks, until September 23rd. Mars is debilitated in Libra, the sign of its detriment. This means it’s not generally comfortable in this sign as the assertive, decisive, and energetic planet Mars feels frustrated in the indecisive and somewhat wishy-washy sign of Libra.
Still, there are so many positive attributes associated with this placement. Emphasis on tact and diplomacy for one thing. An urge to fight for what is just and fair for another. There’s a strong devil’s advocate posture associated with this signature, although that can get tiresome for those who are on the receiving end of someone always looking at the other side of the coin.
At its highest and most evolved state, Mars in Libra is fair, impartial, objective and diplomatic. The lower vibrations of this archetype can be shallow, petty, indecisive, and disingenuous. There’s also a potential for Mars in Libra to express itself as argumentative and passive-aggressive.
On Friday, the Moon leaves Capricorn and moves into Aquarius, thus putting Earth sign energy on pause for the next few weeks. Aside from a brief period (August 15th and 16th) when the Moon passes through Taurus, no planets will be in Earth signs until August 23rd (when the Sun moves into Virgo).
Mars also trines Uranus on Friday. This is a high-energy transit that can have you feeling like you can succeed in anything you set your sights on. There’s not a lot of forethought there; it’s all action, energy, and innovation. It’s about moving forward in leaps and bounds, breaking through whatever has held you back in the past and pushing past limitations.
But maybe it’s not time to get too excited: just one day later, on Saturday, Mars advances to oppose Saturn and Neptune, and with them some potential roadblocks. The Mars/Saturn opposition is often likened to having the pedal to the metal and driving full speed ahead (Mars), only to plow into a brick wall (Saturn). It can be tremendously frustrating as you’re raring to go while the Universe is putting roadblocks in your path.
No matter what you try to accomplish during this time, know that Saturn has the upper hand and that you will be met with challenges. Even with both of these planets debilitated, with Mars in detriment in Libra and Saturn in its fall in Aries.
Neptune brings in elements of confusion and uncertainty. It can see you trusting the wrong people or putting your faith in someone who does not have your best interests at heart. Because of this, it’s not the time to engage in any confrontational (or legally questionable) behaviors as you’re unlikely to come out unscathed. Try to respect the wisdom of Saturn and accept that whatever limitations are in place are there for a reason, which will likely reveal itself to you in time.

Also on Saturday, we have a Full Moon at 16° Aquarius 59′. This is called the Full Sturgeon Moon in Native American traditions.
The Aquarius Moon emphasizes humanitarian goals and ideals. It’s associated with freedom, independence, and autonomy, recognizing that there is a place in the world for all of us and that we each have something unique to contribute. It emphasizes progress, liberation and individuality.
As it’s geared toward social activism, you could be expressing more radical viewpoints and championing for a cause.
Things should start to ease up on Sunday, as Mars inches forward and trines Pluto, becoming the final piece of the puzzle in a Grand Air Trine, with both Mars and Pluto also trining Uranus. With so much Martian energy in the air this week, you may feel like your head is spinning. But this is a very positive transit, bringing the three main power planets — Mars, Pluto, and Uranus — together in a harmonious configuration.
The Mars / Pluto portion of this Grand Trine is driven and self-empowered. It’s about harnessing and funneling your personal power into something constructive and productive. It’s about standing strong in your convictions and refusing to be bullied or pushed aside. The Mars / Uranus portion is dynamic and innovative: it brings flashes of insight, awareness, and ingenuity into the mix. And the Pluto / Uranus portion is focused on humanitarian convictions and the desire to bring about social change. Bringing these planets together in a grand trine and configuration, you may feel like nothing can stop you on your way to making the world a better place.
That’s it for this week. See you next week!
