Weekly Astrology Forecast

Here is the Psychic Scoop Weekly Astrology Forecast for the week of Aug 25 – Aug 31, 2025:

As we start this week, on Monday, Venus leaves Cancer and moves into Leo, where it will spend the next three and a half weeks (until September 19th). With the “love planet” (Venus) moving through the sign associated with warmth, confidence, and creative self-expression (Leo), this would be a great time to connect with a partner or love interest.

Venus in Leo is warm and expressive, loyal, dignified, and proud. This is an incredibly dynamic placement, with the planet associated with love, affection, romance and beauty posited in the sign that magnifies those influences.

Venus in Leo is all about leading with your heart. It’s about learning to love others through first loving yourself and expressing your romantic sensibilities passionately and confidently. It’s also about appearances. It’s about commanding respect from others and taking center stage. It’s about showing the rest of the world what you’re made of: conducting yourself with honor, integrity and grace.

Venus is quite active this week, and on Tuesday, it sextiles Uranus and trines Saturn and Neptune. The sextile to Uranus can break up any crystallization that’s formed in your relationship, and it can clear away the roadblocks that may have stood in your way. Venus/ Uranus is good at getting rid of the debris and clearing a path for you to achieve a more open and progressive expression of love.

The trine between Venus and Saturn / Neptune is more about finding ways to achieve consistency and stability in your relationships without sacrificing romance.  Saturn emphasizes structure and boundaries, while Neptune is more about intuition and idealism. The trine from Venus to each of these planets can help to bring their seemingly divergent energies together in a way that satisfies both. This is a nice, harmonious transit that can see you making headway in your relationships.

But Venus inches ahead 1° and opposes Pluto on the following day (Wednesday). This transit can bring relationship tensions to a head and force you to deal with them. Problems that have been simmering beneath the surface can erupt into confrontations, and see you and a loved one at opposite sides of the fence.

This is not the time to deliver an ultimatum or back someone into a corner. This transit can be volatile and can lead to actions and decisions that can’t be taken back later. Choose your relationship battles wisely during this time — or better yet, choose not to do battle at all.

The Sun and Mercury are in mutual reception, with the Sun in the sign Mercury rules (Virgo) and Mercury in the sign that the Sun rules (Leo). The Moon joins in on Thursday, as it moves into Scorpio and sextiles the Sun and then squares Mercury. These Mutual receptions strengthen the natural influences of the planets involved, uniting them in a collaborative effort. In this case, with Mercury in the Sun’s sign and vice versa, the art of empathic communication is enhanced.

These lunar transits are fleeting: they last for only a few hours at a time. And in this case, the more prominent aspect (although also only in play for a short period of time) is a yod formation involving that same Scorpio Moon, Uranus, and Neptune. The yod, also known as the “Finger of God,” is said to be karmic in nature and is present in many major historical events. Still, it’s probably more significant in a natal (birth) chart than by transit.

Uranus sextiles Neptune on Friday, and while these planets have been relatively close to 60°apart for the last several months, this is the first time they’ve been at 60°(an exact sextile) since the late ’60s. Uranus is known as the Great Awakener. It’s associated with progress, individuation, rebellion, nonconformity, and change. Historically, Uranus has been prominent in times of radical change and social upheaval. Neptune is associated with spirituality and idealism (among many other things).

These are both outer planets, whose impact is felt more universally than individually. Everyone born during this time will have this aspect in their natal charts. For those of us experiencing it by transit, it’s more likely to be expressed as progress and evolutionary change. We should see society as a whole striving for social change (Uranus) and acceptance / inclusion (Neptune).

The Moon — still in Scorpio — squares Mercury on Saturday, and then goes void of course around just before 1:00 a.m. (UT). Although the Moon is said not to be as comfortable in Scorpio (the sign of its Fall), there are a lot of positive attributes associated with this archetype. People with this placement tend to feel things more deeply for one thing, and they’re better at understanding people — as in what makes them tick — than other Moon placements. And as long as you don’t cross them, they’re caring, compassionate, and deeply moved by the hardships that others have had to endure.

The square to Mercury can be problematic, especially when it comes to verbal communications. During this time, you may find yourself dealing with overly sensitive people, those who take things too personally, or those who misinterpret things that you say. This wouldn’t be the time to get into a heated emotional discussion, but in keeping with the positive aspects of a Scorpio Moon, it’s great for listening and for offering an empathic ear.

Mercury trines Chiron on Sunday. This is a harmonious aspect that can offset some of the more stressful transits we’ve experienced earlier in the week. It brings elements like compassion, humility, and tolerance to the mix, which makes social interactions so much more pleasant.

But you won’t be a pushover: with both Mercury and Chiron in fire signs, you should be a lot more confident and persuasive in how you express yourself to others. This combination is good for putting your head together with like-minded people and figuring out ways to move past some of the challenges you’ve had to endure.

Stay tuned for next week, when we have two planets (Mercury and Saturn) changing signs, one planet (Uranus) changing direction, one planet (Pluto) going out of bounds, and a Full Moon total lunar eclipse!

That’s it for this week. See you next week!
