Weekly Astrology Forecast — July 21, 2025 – July 27, 2025

Weekly Astrology Forecast

Here is the Psychic Scoop Weekly Astrology Forecast for the week of July 21, 2025 – July 27, 2025:

This week starts on Monday with the third quarter (Balsamic) Moon in Gemini, which sextiles Mercury, conjuncts Venus, and squares Mars before the day is through. There are lots of positive aspects associated with the Gemini Moon: insatiable curiosity, for one thing, and playfulness for another. Wit, charm, and charisma for a few more. It’s also good for socializing and interacting with others. Add Mars to the mix and you’re likely to see people running around like chickens with their heads cut off, or talking over one another in casual conversation.

As Gemini is a dual or mutable sign, this Moon is good at being flexible and adaptable. It’s known for its ability to multitask and juggle multiple projects simultaneously. It can be restless and impulsive, but it can also be bursting at the seams with new and exciting ideas. The aspects that this Gemini Moon forms with other planets can mitigate or amplify those traits.

This Moon is void of course from about 8:00 p.m. (UT) until around noon on Tuesday, so keep that in mind if you’re making important decisions or are planning to start something new. Also on Tuesday, the Sun leaves Cancer behind and moves into warm, confident, dignified Leo, just as Mars conjuncts the North Node. The Sun is right at home in Leo, the sign it rules. It can remind you to focus on the more positive aspects of this archetype. Things like honor, integrity, dignity, and self-expression. This is the time to show the rest of the world what you’re made of, especially with the aspects that the Sun makes in the coming days, such as a sextile to Uranus and a trine to Saturn and Neptune.

Also on Tuesday, Mars conjuncts the North Node. This aspect involves taking an active role in laying the groundwork for your long-term goals. It’s about planting seeds that can be expected to germinate and grow. Connections that you form during this time may be karmic, so strive to operate from the highest vibrations of the Mars archetype. In other words, with assertion rather than aggression and confidence rather than ego. As any planet conjuncting the North Node will automatically oppose the South Node, be ready to handle conflicts and disagreements with grace. There needs to be a good balance between give and take: don’t try to force your views on others, or you could wind up alienating them.

The Sun completes the aforementioned sextile to Uranus on Wednesday, while Venus squares Mars and the North Node. The sextile to Uranus is great for expressing yourself in ways that may not be conventional but can inspire tolerance and acceptance in others. The Sun is tied to your life force, ego, will, and sense of Self, while Uranus is tied to thinking outside the box. These planets joining together in sextile (a 60° aspect) can be incredibly progressive and innovative. This aspect encourages you to march to the beat of your own drum and express your unique individuality.

The Venus square to Mars and the Moon’s Nodes can be problematic. It can spell conflict in your relationships or with members of the opposite sex. You may find that you and a loved one are not on the same page as far as how each of you sees the relationship, and more importantly, what each of you expects from the other. That’s the Venus / Mars portion of this transit. When you add in the square to the North and South Nodes — a condition known by classical astrologers as ” at the bendings” — these conflicts may be karmic. In particular, this aspect is at the North bending, which is a highly visible placement. Pay attention to what you put out there — what face you show to the outer world, and how you represent yourself.

There’s a Moon / Jupiter conjunction on Wednesday that should be visible in the early morning hours, as both bodies are now rising ahead of the Sun. As we’re just on the verge of a New Moon at this time, the sky should be dark enough to see them clearly, with Venus slightly higher in the pre-dawn sky.

Thursday’s New Moon at 2° Leo 08′ is almost exactly opposite Pluto (which is at 2 °Aquarius 35). The New Moon perfects at 7:10 pm (UT) or 3:10 pm EDT.

As New Moons always represent new beginnings and opportunities to start anew, this one — in Leo — brings opportunities to reinvent yourself. It’s a warm, creative, dynamic placement, especially with the Sun and Mercury also in Leo at this time.

As Leo is the sign associated with warmth, vitality, personality, and creative self-expression, the emphasis is on reveling in the moment, embracing life to the fullest, and setting your worries aside long enough to bask in the light of the day.

As the Moon inches forward, it completes the opposition to Pluto, as does the Sun on Friday morning. This can be one of those “stay out of my way” transits as it tends to pit ego and will against power and control. You might find yourself at odds with someone who comes across as forceful and domineering, and if this is the case, your best bet will be to steer clear.

This transit emphasizes the urge to show others that you’re not a weakling or a pushover. But it can result in a contentious standoff, where you find yourself on opposite sides of an uncrossable line. Since no one is likely to give in, you’d be wise to avoid these kinds of scenarios altogether.

By Saturday, the Leo Moon aspects one planet — it sextiles Venus — and then goes void of course from approximately 11:00 a.m. to about 9:00 p.m., when it moves into Virgo. But starting with the Moon / Venus sextile, you almost couldn’t ask for a more pleasant, carefree, and harmonious signature if what you want to do is socialize or entertain. Venus in Gemini (its esoteric ruler), combined with a New Moon in Leo, can be fantastically charming, flirtatious, and witty.

The void of course Moon is a common occurrence; it marks the period of time between the Moon’s last aspect in one sign and its ingress into the next. Any aspects involving the Moon are temporary and likely to fly by almost imperceptibly. But that doesn’t mean this period will be uneventful. There are still always transits in play: planets interacting with one another and blending or communicating their unique energies.

As the weekend winds down, on Sunday, the Moon is in Virgo and will be the focal point of a yod formation involving Pluto and Saturn / Neptune in the early morning hours. It will also sextile Jupiter before the day is through. If you feel like getting some work done around the house or you need to make preparations for the week ahead, this is the time to do it. The Moon in Virgo likes to be efficient and productive, so you can get a lot done.

That’s it for this week. See you next week!

Weekly Astrology Forecast — July 14, 2025 – July 20, 2025

Weekly Astrology Forecast

Here is the Psychic Scoop Weekly Astrology Forecast for the week of July 14, 2025 – July 20, 2025:

You might think that there’s not much going on this week, especially if you look at the astrology calendar below. You would be wrong! Aside from the fact that Mercury will be going retrograde, as it does three or four times every year, we’ll see several powerful lunar transits and will also bear witness to some interesting astrological phenomena in the coming days. Starting on Monday, the Moon in Pisces will square Uranus, semi-sextile Saturn and Neptune, and trine Jupiter before the day is through.

The Moon-Uranus square, with both planets at 0° (right at midnight, UT), indicates a potential for emotional volatility. Here you’re pitting the planet most associated with disruption and change (Uranus) against the Moon, which is associated with feelings and emotions — among other things. And with both plants at the earliest degrees, you can add impulsivity and a lack of emotional sophistication to the mix. The semi-sextile to Saturn and Neptune makes for a welcome transition, since it can bring a calming, almost sobering quality to the table. By the time you get to the trine to Jupiter — which will be in mutual reception at that point — any earlier emotional turbulence may be forgotten, or replaced with positive sentiments and feelings of goodwill.

That same Pisces Moon, on Tuesday, opposes Mars, conjunct the North Node, and then trines the Cancer Sun before the end of the day. The opposition to Mars can bring petty grievances to the forefront. Mars is action, energy, and drive — all commendable traits. However, when you pit it against the Moon (feelings, emotions, security needs, etc.), it can bring out the less savory Martian impulses, such as anger, aggression, and impatience.

The Moon conjuncting its own North Node can indicate a period of heightened emotional awareness as well as increased intuition. Remember though, that this is only in effect for a few hours, as Moon transits are fleeting. Still, it’s a good idea to pay attention to flashes of insight during this time, and also to new people entering your life. The last lunar aspect — a trine to the Sun — should end the evening on a pleasant, harmonious note.

Jupiter has now made the switch from Evening Star to Morning Star, and by Wednesday, it’s conjuncting both Mercury’s and Venus’s North Nodes at 8° Cancer 59 and 8° Cancer 47, respectively. Jupiter is at 8° Cancer 12 on this date, less than a degree away from the fixed star Aldebaran, one of the four Royal Stars. It’s also still in mutual reception with the Moon, at least for the first several hours of the day.

Jupiter is dignified in the sign of Cancer, where it is exalted. An exalted planet or luminary is said to express its clearest and purest essence in that sign; in this case, it’s the sensitive, loving, nurturing sign of Cancer. The mutual reception with the Moon in Pisces reinforces the qualities, although the Moon is void of course until it moves into Aries around 4:30 a.m. (UT).

The Moon in Aries on Thursday squares Jupiter and trines Mercury. This can make for a high-energy day with lots of emphasis on social interactions. The Moon / Jupiter portion of this configuration may be prone to excess, mainly concerning emotional expression. This can manifest as a sense of enthusiasm or exuberance, with the trine to Mercury adding a flare for boldness and drama.

The Moon in Aries trining Mercury in Leo could see you feeling more courageous about expressing your feelings. But remember that lunar transits are fleeting. This aspect will be in effect for 5 hours at best. Make sure you read the room before you go spilling all your deepest, darkest secrets.

Mercury goes stationary retrograde on Friday, as it does three or four times every year. This time it happens at 15° Leo 32′. As always, you want to be ready to roll with the punches as far as making plans and developing expectations.

When Mercury goes retrograde, Mercury-ruled things naturally start to go a little haywire. Communications tend to run amok, plans get turned on their head, communications devices (computers, electronics, cell phones, etc.), and written communications (emails, texts, letters, etc.) get lost or misconstrued. It’s not a good time to sign contracts or legal documents, and not a good time to purchase Mercury-ruled items (automobiles, televisions, computers, and so on). It will remain retrograde for the next 3+ weeks, when it will change direction again — this time turning back forward — at 4° Leo 16 (on August 12th).

In the meantime, just after Mercury goes retrograde, it forms a sextile to Venus. This is always a pleasant aspect and not at all uncommon. In fact, the only aspects that Venus and Mercury are able to form with one another are the conjunction and a sextile. This is due to the proximity to the Sun and the shortened rotation period for each. This aspect is good for pleasant, harmonious conversation and communications in general

On Saturday, the Sun squares Chiron. As squares are generally tied to conflicts (both internal and external), this one can manifest as a bit of an existential crisis. It pits your ego, will and life-force (the Sun) against the part of you that doesn’t feel worthy. Or that feels you can never quite earn the approval of others.

It creates a need to remedy an imbalance between the desire for self-actualization (the Sun) and the urge for self-sacrifice (Chiron). Heading up a volunteer program or taking part in something meaningful in your community are good ways to satisfy this transit.

Sunday’s Taurus Moon makes one aspect: a sextile to the Sun. The Moon is exalted in Taurus, meaning that it’s a revered placement. An exalted planet or luminary is said to express its clearest and purest essence in that sign; in this case, it’s the calm, gentle, fertile sign of Taurus. The trine to the Sun is a harmonious aspect that reinforces the desire to relax.

With all that in mind, this could be a good day to lounge around the house, listening to music, baking, decorating, and — depending on where in the world you are located — landscaping and gardening. These are all Taurus Moon activities, with the idea of comfort, luxury, and getting in touch with nature and the earth being the corresponding theme.
