Why Won’t He Change?

This is a question I get asked on an almost daily basis, particularly from clients who are unhappy with the lack of affection, emotional expression or reassurance that they’re getting from their relationship partners.

But maybe a better question would be “why did he change in the first place?”

In most cases, the relationship started out on a good note, with the love interest pursuing ardently and the client expressing no doubts or concerns about his level of interest. And then over time, something changed. Or more specifically he changed.

Of course when that happens, the natural response is to try to figure out what happened and what you can do to change him back. Especially if the man you fell in love with in the first place seemed to be a lot more like Prince Charming than the toad you’re stuck with now.

Ask a Psychic: Will I Reunite With My Ex?

This week’s question comes from woman (whom we’ll call Teresa) whose boyfriend broke up with her during the most recent Mercury retrograde.

She knows enough about astrology to know that things can go haywire during a Mercury retrograde, but probably doesn’t know enough about it to have understood that there were far bigger transits at work during this period, namely Saturn and Pluto transits.

She says she was blind-sided and didn’t see this coming. She’s wondering whether there is a chance for reconciliation and if so when.

Finding Your Other Half

One of the questions I get asked most frequently as a psychic is “When will I meet my soul mate?”

The term “soul mate” is often used interchangeably with “other half” but they’re essentially the same thing.

The question of when is often followed by how (as in under what circumstances) when it really should be more along the lines of “What changes can I make in myself to become the best version of me so that I can attract the right partner into my life?”

Let’s face it, most of us are looking for someone to share our lives with.

And for those of us who haven’t yet found that perfect someone, the desire to do so can become the strongest motivating factor in our lives.

But if motivation alone were enough to create happily-ever-afters, none of us would ever have to worry about finding our other halves.

Ask a Psychic: How Can I Restore the Balance in My Life?

This week’s question comes from a new mother who is looking for some spiritual guidance.

She has a 19-month old son who is the love of her life. But since his birth and she returned to full-time work, she says her life feels completely out of balance.

She has no time/energy for her own needs and put on a lot of weight and has begun to feel completely disconnected from her friends, her creator, and her own soul’s direction.

She realizes there’s no easy answer, and being told to “just make time for herself” feels laughable. She wants to know how to get some balance back into her life without sacrificing time with her child.

When Psychic Readings Fail

If you’re reading this, chances are good that you’ve had some experience with psychics and psychic readings.

And if you’ve had more than a few, chances are good that you’ve seen how some predictions pan out while others fail. If you’re wondering why, then this article is for you.

While sometimes it’s a matter of finding the right “fit,” and sometimes it’s about forming a connection that is immediately verifiable, more often than not the odds of your psychic reading failing or succeeding are largely dependent on you.

Some clients want a straight up “yes or no” answer. They come in saying they have a “quick question,” which as often as not turns out to be very complicated.

Some want their psychic to “prove a connection” (and then follow that up with a question that even they don’t know the answer to, which means that a connection is impossible to prove based on those parameters).

Astrologers Do lt with Heavenly Bodies

When it comes to astrology, most people know a little about the 12 different signs of the zodiac, even if they don’t “believe” in them.

This is generally tied to Sun sign astrology, which represents only a tiny portion of what astrology really is. But there’s so much more to astrology than Sun signs, just as there’s so much more to our solar system than the Sun.

Astrologers look at all of the planets — as well as the Sun and Moon — when interpreting a natal chart. Each of those planets is looked at in the context of the sign its placed in at birth, as well as its house position and relationships with other planets.

But for the purposes of this article, we’re going to be looking at only the planets (which also, for the purposes of this article, will include the Sun and Moon). The Sun and Moon are referred to as luminaries in astrology and are treated as planets. They’re certainly as important (usually more important) than the other nine bodies.

In the coming weeks, we’ll look at signs and houses too, which, from an astrological perspective, can tell you a great deal about not only who you are, but where you came from and where you’re heading.
There’s naturally a lot more to astrology than this. But with that in mind, let’s look at what each of the planets can tell you about you and your loved ones.

Debunking Myths About Astrology

I was recently contacted by a high school student who was working on a class project about Astrology.

She was given an assignment to interview someone who studied and / or practiced astrology professionally, which ultimately led her to me.

Although her questions were geared more toward the reasons people “believe” in astrology than about it what it actually entails, they were respectful and insightful enough that I was inspired to indulge her.

The following is our interview in the format it was presented. Due to space constraints, it’s only a small sampling of the many myths we were able to debunk. But we’ll be looking at more of those in the coming weeks. For now though, here’s the interview in its original form.

The Waiting Game

One of the most common questions I get asked as a psychic is: “when will he (or she) call?”

This usually comes on the heels of one of two potential relationship scenarios:

1: they’ve made a connection with someone who seemed promising at the time but hasn’t followed up; or

2: there’s been discord in an existing relationship and no one has called to try to make things right.

In both scenarios the client is clearly “waiting” for the other person to make a move, but what they don’t understand is that getting that to happen is far more in their hands than anything else, and that what they do (or don’t do) now can make all the difference in the world.

Getting the Most From Your Psychic Reading

Let’s face it: there are a lot of bad psychics out there. Or more accurately, a lot of bad people masquerading as psychics.

There are those who prey on the most vulnerable members of our society by either failing to tell them the truth (after all, they make a lot more money feeding into people’s fantasies), or telling them outright lies for the exact same reason.

The word “Psychic” comes from the Greek work psychikos and means “of the mind” or “of the psyche.”

It does not refer to mind-reading or fortune telling or similar mind-blowing parlor tricks.

Unfortunately these are popular misconceptions, based on media mockery and the unscrupulous practices of some who use them to make a quick buck.

Psychic readings can be tremendously valuable, provided that you approach them with both an open mind and a healthy sense of logic.

Your session should involve some give and take, and will suffer when either of these falls out of balance. If your psychic asks too many questions, you’re likely to question whether the information you’re provided is “real” or is just a natural assumption based on what you’ve already revealed. But if on the other hand you’re too closed-off to provide feedback for the information you’re receiving, your psychic may not be able to tap into the areas of your psyche that are necessary to inform a good reading.
