Weekly Astrology Forecast

Here is the Psychic Scoop Weekly Astrology Forecast for the week of Jul 9, 2017 – Jul 15, 2017:

We start this week with a Full Moon in Capricorn on Sunday. This is known as the Full Buck Moon — or Full Thunder Moon — in Native American traditions.

As Full Moons are said to shine a spotlight on areas in your chart that are affected (by house position and contacts to other planets) you might look to your own natal chart to see where this will play out for you.

The Full Moon each month provides an overview of the progress you’ve made since its New Moon counterpoint back in June. Seeds that were planted then will surely have sprouted; do you need to make adjustments or change your course entirely? Now is the time to think about what you’ve accomplished and where you want to go from here.

This particular Full Moon — at 17 Capricorn 09 — conjuncts Pluto, which can make for a very intense — and potentially volatile — lunar cycle.

This week starts on Sunday with a tense Mercury / Mars / Pluto aspect that can see tempers flaring and conflicts arising. Emotions are likely to be running high, as are impatience and impulsivity. You want to think before you speak, especially if speaking turns into lashing out at others.

Tarot Card of the Week: Lizard

LizardTarot Card of the Week: June 26 – July 2, 2017

Lizard

This week you may find yourself needing to defend your belief systems to others. You may be called upon to stand your ground and express your views with courage and conviction.

This is not going to be the time to waiver or back down. It’s all about standing up for what you believe in, even if you find yourself at odds with the masses.

The Lizard — or Seven of Branches in the Animal Wisdom Tarot — is associated with the Seven of Wands in traditional tarot. It’s all about holding your ground and not allowing yourself to be backed into a corner. It’s about refusing to take the easy way out or to concede defeat.

Look at how vibrant and colorful this lizard is. He’s not about to be toned down or forced into complacency. His confidence may be bolstered by the branches that frame him on either side, but you can see that they offer little protection.

The rainbow behind him though says that he’s standing up for something he truly believes in. His ideals are noble and his intentions are grand — even as he loudly proclaims them.

Here is the Psychic Scoop Weekly Astrology Forecast for the week of Jun 25, 2017 – Jul 1, 2017:

This week starts with a square between Mars (in Cancer) and Jupiter (in Libra) on Sunday. This aspect can be problematic. It’s loaded with blustery bravado that can see you biting off way more than you can chew or promising way more than you can deliver.

Card of the Week: Summer Solstice

Card of the Week: June 19 – 25, 2017

Summer Solstice

The Sun moves into Cancer this week (on Wednesday, June 21, 2017), marking the onset of the Summer Solstice as well as the longest day of the year.

This is measured by the amount of time between Sunrise and Sunset for those in the Northern Hemisphere; it’s exactly the opposite (Winter Solstice and shortest day of the year) for those in the Southern Hemisphere.

This card — from Steven D. Farmer’s gorgeous Earth Magic Oracle deck —  is called “Radiance” and honors the Sun’s role in giving us the longest day of the year, i.e., the Summer Solstice.

When we think of the Sun, we think of warmth, light and life. It warms our spirits as well as our bodies; it brightens our moods as well as the outside world, and it brings life to our dreams and goals as well as to every living thing on the planet.

It refers to the wonder and glory of being alive. Of feeling warm, confident, radiant and spirited. Its attitude is that “everything is as it should be” today, for you and in the world around you.

Weekly Astrology Forecast

Here is the Psychic Scoop Weekly Astrology Forecast for the week of Jun 18, 2017 – Jun 24, 2017:

This week starts with a Saturn / Mercury opposition on Sunday, just as the Sun sextiles the North Node and Uranus. The Sun’s sextile to both Uranus and the North Node brings in the Uranus / North Node trine (which was partile on Saturday). And that’s a good thing since the Saturn / Mercury opposition can be a bit of a downer or a rain-on-your-parade aspect.

We start this week on Sunday with the Moon in Capricorn (still full) trining Venus and opposing Mars. While the Moon / Mars opposition can be temperamental and tempestuous, this aspect is alleviated somewhat by the trine to Venus, which is dignified for the next three weeks in its own sign.

Tarot Card of the Week: Four of Swords

Four of SwordsCard of the Week: June 5 – 11, 2017

Four of Swords

This week you may feel like you need to take a breather or just focus on getting some much needed peace and quiet.

The Four of Swords — from the Golden Tarot of Klimt — encourages you to disengage from all the commotion that surrounds you find your strength through rest and recovery.

It could be as simple as getting away for a few days to relax and recharge your batteries. And it could be as profound as going on a life-altering pilgrimage or spiritual retreat.

It refers to removing yourself from all of the distractions in your life and reflect rather than “act.” It speaks of detaching from the whirlwind of activity around you and choosing to observe rather than participate.

You might also be thinking of getting away from it all. You could be feeling the strains of mundane responsibilities; or maybe you just long to escape from the hustle and bustle of day-to-day life.

Weekly Astrology Forecast

Here is the Psychic Scoop Weekly Astrology Forecast for the week of May 28, 2017 – Jun 3, 2017:

It’s going to be an eventful week for us all astrologically, starting with Mercury sextiling Neptune on Sunday. This aspect is good for meditating, journaling, or any type of creative communications (songwriting, poetry, composing love letters, etc.) It’s also a highly sensitive aspect that favors getting in touch with your intuition and paying attention to your dreams.

Tarot Card of the Week: Ten of Wands

Mary El Tarot

Ten of Wands

Tarot Card of the Week: May 1 – May 7, 2017

Ten of Wands

You may have to muster up the strength, determination and fortitude this week to do what must be done, even if the task before you seems daunting and overwhelming.

The Ten of Wands — this version from the stunning Mary-el Tarot — is all about rising to the occasion and taking care of business, no matter how difficult or arduous that may be. It’s about stepping up to the plate and shouldering responsibilities — or like the figure in this card, moving through hell or high water to get the job done.

What do you think would happen if this man and his horse were to stop right  now where they are? They’d be consumed by the flames that are already engulfing them. They’d surely perish on the spot.

The idea here seems to be that once the task is started there’s no turning back. The rider pledges his commitment (notice his hand held over his heart) and the horse gathers speed.

He may have taken on more than he thinks he can handle, but he’s not going to throw in the towel. This is the essence of the Ten of Wands. Upholding your responsibilities may be more than you bargained for, but that doesn’t excuse you from doing them.

Tarot Card of the Week: Knight of Pentacles

Knight of Pentacles

Tarot Card of the Week: March 27 – April 2, 2017

Knight of Pentacles

This week should see you taking a more serious look at where you’re heading, with respect to your career, your professional goals, your education, your finances and your “brand.”

The Knight of Pentacles is generally all about taking things slow and steady with a keen eye on the future and the discipline to keep “plodding along” as you move toward your destiny.

As with all the Court cards, this can be someone presently in your life (or coming in) or it can represent a frame of mind that’s necessary for you adopt right now.

Don’t make the mistake though of focusing too much on the nuts and bolts of achieving success. If there’s any negative aspect that can be associated with this card it’s usually the dearth of inspiration that can lead to getting stuck in a rut of tedium and routine.

But this Knight of Pentacles doesn’t appear to be lacking in inspiration at all. We see him pausing at the onset of a vibrant and colorful path, reaching up to the heavens. Is he praying for guidance or expressing his gratitude?
