Weekly Astrology Forecast

Here is the Psychic Scoop Weekly Astrology Forecast for the week of Oct 11, 2026 – Oct 17, 2026:

We start this week on Sunday with the Moon — still New — in Libra. The Moon is largely unaspected (and via combusta) for most of the day. It does sextile Jupiter in Leo, just before it goes void of course in the early morning hours.

The Libra Moon is known for fairness and objectivity. It’s good for social interactions that call for cooperation and collaboration, as it strives for balance and harmony at all times. The Via Combusta Moon continues all through Sunday and Monday, although there are several pleasant lunar transits in the interim. Keep in mind that most of these aspects involve retrograde planets, of which there are currently five — six, if you count Chiron.

The Moon enters Scorpio in the mid-afternoon, and squares Pluto late in the day. From there, it moves ahead and square is mars and then conjuncts Venus on the following day (Monday). These aspects, as well as the earlier square to Pluto, are all part of a bigger planetary picture, which is a fixed T-square that’s been in play over the last week or so. Little by little, some of the players (planets) move out while others move in; still, it’s impossible to interpret them separately when they’re all part of a larger configuration. In this case, the main players are the Moon and Venus, which are at the apex, or focal point, of the T-square, and Mars and Pluto, which are opposite to one another and each squaring the Venus / Moon conjunction.

This T-square configuration will likely manifest as conflicts and challenges in relationships. Whether this is on a personal level or a global level remains to be seen. But you can do a lot to mitigate the potential for a disaster by choosing not to engage in combative behaviors, no matter how badly you are triggered. This is much more of a make-war-not-love transit, but it doesn’t have to be that way. Remember that forewarned is forearmed, and proceed accordingly.

By Tuesday, the Moon, still in Scorpio, will square Jupiter and the lunar nodes, before it goes void of course just before 9 a.m. The square to Jupiter can see you wanting to do things in a big way. It can be overly enthusiastic and excitable. It can be over-the-top as far as emotional expression goes, and can be outright exuberant. Be careful not to overdo it, though; while this transit can be loads of fun, it’s generally lacking in discipline and restraint.

The square to the Moon’s own Nodes is a condition known as “at the bendings” by classical astrologers. It refers to a period of crisis with emphasis on the concept of fate. As the Moon is associated with feelings, emotions, and security needs, this can translate as an emotional crisis. It can manifest as feeling backed into a corner and forced to face areas of painful memories and present-day insecurities. This is likely to be intensified karma with the Moon in Scorpio.

The Moon breaks its 18-hour void-of-course spell on Wednesday, when it moves into Sagittarius and trines Neptune, sextiles Pluto, opposes Uranus, and squares Mars. The Sagittarius Moon inspires us to think about travel, adventure, philosophy and higher mind pursuits. It takes us out of our comfort zones and gets us thinking about how the other half lives.

Seeing how it interacts with such a variety of different planets throughout the day, you can bet you won’t be bored. This Moon sign presents opportunities for personal growth and spiritual awareness, no matter how you get there.

The Sun sextiles Jupiter on Thursday. This transit brings the planet that rules growth, expansion and personal evolution (Jupiter) into creative collaboration with the planet that rules your core identity (the Sun). It represents feeling good about yourself. Feeling upbeat, optimistic, generous and carefree. It can manifest as expecting only the best and having the Universe respond in kind.

This is further reinforced by a Grand Fire trine taking place at the same time. This one involves Mars (in Leo), the Moon (in Sagittarius), and Saturn (in Aries). This can be a really productive and fruitful configuration, even though it’s relatively short-term. While the Mars / Saturn aspect will be within orb for several days, the Moon moves quickly, which is what you’ll need to do if you want to take advantage of it. This is a great signature for starting a new project, launching a new business, finalizing plans, or putting a stamp of approval on anything that you want to see come to fruition.

Mars trines Saturn on Friday, just as Pluto goes stationary direct. As for the Mars/Saturn aspect: this transit isn’t particularly lucky. But it still offers opportunities if you’re willing to work for them. It invites you to take plans that have been thoroughly and painstakingly finessed (Saturn) and put them into action (Mars).

Pluto, which has been retrograde for the last five and a half months, as it does every single year. With the last two retrogrades, Pluto has moved back and forth between Capricorn and Aquarius, but this time it remains in Aquarius, where it will for the next 17+ years. From its first entrance into Aquarius in March of 2023, until it leaves Aquarius and moves into Pisces in January of 2044, Pluto will have spent almost 21 years in this sign.

This time around, it’s been retrograde since May 7th and will turn retrograde again on May 9th, 2027. As it starts moving forward this time, suppressed urges and desires may resurface (much like the Roman God for which it is named, emerging from the underworld).

Pluto turning direct forces you to look at those urges in the harsh light of day and decide whether you’re ready to deal with them or push them back below the surface. Obviously the former is preferable, as it can mean the difference between life happening to you (and having no control) or taking charge of your destiny and having some say in how it all plays out.

Saturday’s Moon in Capricorn brings with it some much-needed Earth sign energy, as only the Moon’s brief transits through Earth signs (Taurus, Virgo, and Capricorn) over the next six weeks will bring in any of that energy until Mars moves into Virgo in late November.  We’ve been dealing with this imbalance since September 23rd, when the Sun left Virgo. The Moon is in detriment in Capricorn, as this sign is said to be at odds with the sensitive / emotional vibration associated with the Moon. As a result, we may forget some of the more positive attributes associated with the Capricorn Moon, such as soulfulness, wisdom, simplicity and sensibility.

And we may not recognize how integral this Earth sign energy is to our collective equilibrium. Until it’s lacking, that is. So, for the two- or three-day period when the Moon is one of these signs, like this weekend for example, while it’s in Capricorn. Try to focus on taking care of business, getting your finances in order, reorganizing your home or office space, and planning your calendar. These are all Earth sign, and in particular Capricorn, activities that should serve you well.

That’s it for this week. See you next week!
