Here is the Psychic Scoop Weekly Astrology Forecast for the week of Oct 4, 2026 – Oct 10, 2026:
As we start this week, on Sunday, there’s a Sun/Saturn opposition from 11° Libra (the Sun) to 11 ° Aries (Saturn). This aspect can be stressful, as it pits the Identity, Ego and Will (the Sun) against external obstacles and restrictions (Saturn). It forces you to consider everything that could go wrong and may end up convincing you it will.
The opposition is reinforced by the fact that these two planets rule opposing signs, with the Sun as the natural ruler for Leo and Saturn as the traditional ruler for Aquarius. As a result, this transit can undermine your confidence or lead you to question your own self-worth. This is especially true for planets at around 11° in Cardinal signs.
Both the Sun and Saturn are currently debilitated by sign, with each of them in the sign of their fall. Keep in mind, though, that they’re also moving in opposite directions (with the Sun moving forward in Libra and Saturn retrograding back through Aries), and as such, the Sun is the stronger influence in this equation. Still, it’s not the time to try to compensate for feelings of inadequacy. As oppositions can reveal areas of personal weakness, you can evaluate this one to see where important changes need to be made.
The T-square involving Mercury, Mars, and Pluto tightens up on Monday when Mars moves up to 3 and 4º Leo, completing the opposition to Pluto and square to Mars. The Moon will join in around sunrise, when it conjuncts Mars at 4° Leo. This is a potentially combustible configuration, so it would be wise to steer clear of any personal or social conflicts. It’s not the time to engage in heated debates about religion, politics, or social issues, especially though you may have strong personal opinions on. Think of the Five of Wands in the tarot: that’s how this T-square can play out.
Does it get any better on Tuesday? Possibly. While this fixed T-square is still in effect, Mercury is moving away from its focal point position and coming up to conjunct Venus (exact on Wednesday). And the Moon moves ahead enough to form a trine with Saturn and then conjunct Jupiter.
Let’s start with the fact that the Moon is in Leo, which represents a very warm and dynamic emotional expression. If you add in the trine to Saturn, which tones down that warmth and emphasizes Leo’s natural tendency toward self-importance, you arrive at a well-rounded demeanor. Now bring in the conjunction with Jupiter, which can amplify those tendencies, and think of all you can accomplish.
On Wednesday, Venus retrogrades back to conjunct Mercury, just as Mars sextiles Uranus. The Venus/Mercury conjunction can be quite pleasant. It’s great for lighthearted chatter among friends or playful flirtation between love interests. Because Mercury rules communications and Venus is retrograde, this transit can indicate a voice from the past reaching out to touch base, or it can compel you to reconnect with someone who’s lately been on your mind.
The Mars / Uranus sextile joins in and makes sure that no one is going to get bored. This is a high-energy aspect that can have you feeling like you can succeed in anything you set your sights on. There’s not a lot of forethought there; it’s all action, energy and innovation. It’s moving forward in leaps and bounds, breaking through whatever has held you back in the past and pushing past limitations.
Remember, there are no planets in Earth signs for the next few months, other than the two or three periods of time when the Moon transits through Taurus, Capricorn or Virgo. And that’s exactly what’s happening on Thursday, when the Moon in Virgo is involved in a Yod configuration involving Saturn and Mercury.
The Virgo Moon describes a need to look more closely at the ways in which you’ve been of service. In what ways are you striving to make the world a better place through the combination of self-sacrifice and self-improvement? This is the essence of the Virgo archetype. Whether it’s work, health, or service to your community, the focus is on discretion and refinement.
The Yod formation — with the Moon at the apex — brings a need to reevaluate your emotional responses to situations that make you uncomfortable. It can manifest as an urge to be self-sacrificing, which can translate as either an angel of mercy or a glutton for punishment. But as lunar transits are fleeting, this really shouldn’t be a problem. If you feel like getting some work done around the house or you need to make preparations for the days ahead, this is the time to do it. The Moon in Virgo likes to be efficient and productive, so you can get a lot accomplished during this transit.
On Friday, the Moon leaves Virgo and moves into Libra, and we’re back to navigating a no Earth-sign energy landscape. And there’s also a Mercury inconjunct (150°) Saturn transit in play. This transit can see you questioning the value of your own thoughts and ideas. It can see you feeling uncertain or insecure about what you believe in, and can have you feeling shy about expressing it. This transit can have your mind playing tricks on you. Wondering “Is what I have to say important enough?” or “Am I even sure about what I think?”
You may feel like you’re being put on the spot or that you are being challenged by those who think they know better. Fortunately, the Moon (still in Libra) moves ahead and trines Pluto and sextiles Mars, bolstering your confidence. Open and honest communication and a willingness to compromise are key.
This is going to be especially important on Saturday, as there’s a square between the love and relationship planets, Venus and Mars. This is a recurrence of an earlier theme in the Venus / Mars cycle, which occurred on July 29th when both planets were direct. What was happening for you at that time? Especially regarding your relationships? As Venus is now retrograde and revisiting that earlier transit, you may have an opportunity to repair any damage that was done.
Keep in mind this isn’t an easy transit. Square (90°) aspects are always associated with strife. It’s the strife itself that paves the way for resolution, as long as you’re able to look at both sides, and are willing to do the work.
Stay tuned for next week as we’re going to have a New Moon in Libra, one of six retrograde planets (Pluto) turning direct, and a second brief foray into Euarth sign energy
That’s it for this week. See you next week!
