Here is the Psychic Scoop Weekly Astrology Forecast for the week of Jul 9, 2017 – Jul 15, 2017:
We start this week with a Full Moon in Capricorn on Sunday. This is known as the Full Buck Moon — or Full Thunder Moon — in Native American traditions.
As Full Moons are said to shine a spotlight on areas in your chart that are affected (by house position and contacts to other planets) you might look to your own natal chart to see where this will play out for you.
The Full Moon each month provides an overview of the progress you’ve made since its New Moon counterpoint back in June. Seeds that were planted then will surely have sprouted; do you need to make adjustments or change your course entirely? Now is the time to think about what you’ve accomplished and where you want to go from here.
This particular Full Moon — at 17 Capricorn 09 — conjuncts Pluto, which can make for a very intense — and potentially volatile — lunar cycle.
The Sabian Symbol for this degree is “The Union Jack flies from a new British destroyer.” This makes a powerful statement. It speaks of showing others what you are made of or what you are intent on protecting. It may reference things like preparing for war; strengthening borders, protecting your homeland, etc.
Because Pluto is conjunct the Moon, and because it’s a full Moon, Pluto will also automatically oppose the Sun — exact on Monday. This aspect brings in the potential for Egos to get in the way of accomplishing much of anything. This transit can be willful and rebellious, so be mindful of loved ones’ need to be themselves.
Power struggles, harsh words and trust issues are all indicated here. This is not the time to try to force someone into a specific role or exert your own expectations on others.
The mid-week transits are relatively minor, with a handful of fleeting lunar transits, as the Moon moves through Aquarius for most of Tuesday and Wednesday. The Aquarius Moon emphasizes humanitarian ideals; recognizing that there’s a place in the world for all of us and that we each have something unique to contribute.
It also emphasizes progress, activism and uniqueness. It speaks of figuring out who we are as a unique individuals, and what impact we want to make on the world at large.
On Friday, Mercury sextiles Jupiter. This is a more conciliatory aspect that’s great for negotiating or forming and agreement with others. It’s good for sitting down and having a heart to heart with loved ones.
It’s a light-hearted and engaging aspect that emphasizes sharing, learning and exchanging ideas. It says you can keep things interesting without going too deep; you can have playful and pleasant encounters with others without worrying about stepping on anyone’s toes.
As we wind things down this week — with the Moon moving into Aries in the early morning hours of Saturday — we can start looking forward to a busy week ahead. It’s going to be a more dynamic week too, with three planets moving into Leo and two hard squares to Uranus. We may need to hold onto our hats and prepare for a bumpy ride.
