Here is the Psychic Scoop Astrology Forecast for the week of Aug 16 – Aug 22, 2015:

We start the week with the Sun conjuncting Venus and Chiron in semi-sextile to Uranus on Sunday. Both of these transits are separating, meaning that they are moving away from one another.

The Venus / Sun aspect emphasizes love, affection, beauty and romance. The retrograde Venus may bring someone back in from your past. Alternately you may feel the urge to reach out to an old flame. This aspect is also good for making enhancements, such as to your home, your wardrobe or your physical appearance.

The Chiron / Uranus semi-sextile acts as a sort of buffer between slightly disharmonious predilections. Where Uranus wants to stir things up and rebel, Chiron wants to smooth things over and heal. This aspect says you can do both, as long as you can find a middle ground. Take a minute today to validate yourself and embrace your own odd quirks and flaws.

Look for the value in others too — especially in those you don’t quite understand, such as the outcasts and misfits, or those who are just different from you.This aspect reminds us that there’s a place in the world for all of us, and that acceptance and tolerance can go a long ways toward healing society’s wounds.

Venus trines Uranus and inconjuncts Chiron on Wednesday. Starting with the trine, it’s a good time to change things up a bit, especially in how you present yourself to the outer world. Remember that Venus is in Leo (the sign related to creativity and self-expression) and Uranus is in Aries (the progressive, forward thinking maverick) making this about putting your best foot forward rather than blending in with the crowd.

The inconjunct to Chiron can put a strain on your love life by forcing you to look at unhealthy relationship patterns, such as mistaking compassion for love or pity for kindness. This aspect underscores the potential for missing (or misreading) important social cues. As with all inconjunct aspects, the key to rebalancing this energy is adjusting your own perceptions and adapting your own approach.

Thursday’s Mercury / Chiron opposition is also complicated by an inconjunct, this one to Uranus. The opposition with Chiron can see you feeling inadequate or wallowing in self-pity. It can also leave you susceptible to deception — including your own. Don’t get caught up in drama and don’t let your compassion for others cloud your thinking.

The inconjunct to Uranus can see you moving past your ego and tapping into your higher consciousness. This aspect can manifest as feeling alienated or alone — or like the odd man out. But as you shift your energy toward humanitarian goals, you can make a great impact in your community. Use this transit to balance out the part of you that longs to save the world with the part that just wants to belong.

Don’t let yourself sink too far into the dumps on Saturday, with the Sun square Saturn and Mars inconjunct Neptune. Both of these transits can be somewhat sobering, and can leave you feeling melancholy, but only if you let them. You may not have a lot of energy and feel like staying close to home. This is actually recommended, as the Moon moves into 1st quarter (4th house) phase and activates that Sun / Saturn square.

Take a day off if you can and get some rest. These transits may not be good for socializing or partying, but they are good for paying attention to your body and heeding your inner voice.
