Today’s crystal therapy session is all about dissolving and dispelling negative energy. It can be challenging to stay focused when we are surrounded by negative energy. Sometimes our work places can and even our home environments can be emotionally toxic environments that can make it difficult for us to stay in a positive frame of mind. Crystal therapy is one thing that we can apply to our everyday lives to assist us in dissolving negative energy.
Before we jump into the best crystals to dissolve negative energy, it is important for us to discuss how negative energy influences us. I love the way Marianne Williamson explains negative energy. She says, “Right now the world is being held hostage by a state of fear.” In dealing with the “negative vibes” around us we must first understand the source of the negativity. It doesn’t matter how many crystals you carry around with you, if you are not willing to see the world through the eyes of love and compassion they will simply be rocks that are weighing you down.
Dissolving negative energy is a choice, and part of that choice is being willing to change our responses to negative influences. There are certainly times in our lives when situations and people no longer serve our highest interest. When these times occur, we can lovingly let them go, and forgive the situation. However, there are also times when the negative influences are there and Spirit’s goal within the situation is for us to learn how to love and be compassionate within the environment we are in. Learning the difference between these two life experiences is crucial to our spiritual growth.
These five crystals can be used in both types of circumstances. Whether we are dispelling the negative energy and letting go of the circumstances, or dissolving the negative influence other people have on our situation, crystals can provide additional support to keep us in a positive, loving, and compassionate state of mind. They can work as an aid to reinforce our intention to be a more positive and loving person.
Black Tourmaline Crystals To Dissolve Negative Energy
Black Tourmaline Crystals To Dissolve Negative EnergyBlack Tourmaline is like a vortex sucking in negative influences before they can hit us. This is a wonderful crystal to wear in jewelry, have on your desk at work, or have around the house. When using this crystal daily, it is important to cleanse it at least a few times a week. I would recommend running it under clean water or placing it on a small bed of salt.
Along with keeping negative energy away from you, you can intentionally focus your feelings onto this crystal to help you clear and clarify your own mental states. Sometimes our emotions can be so overwhelming that we find it difficult to see what’s behind them. By using black tourmaline to dissolve negative energy, you can easily find release from the intensity of your emotion and gain clarity about the circumstances that are creating the emotion.
Smokey Quartz Crystals to Dissolve Negative Energy
Smokey quartz is a beautiful clear/grey crystal that can allow us to remain centered and in the present moment. When we are surrounded by a lot of negative energy, it can often be very challenging for us to stay centered and in the moment. Emotions can run wild, and when emotions run wild it is easy to fall into patterns of action that lack mindfulness. We can literally forget who we are and what we want out of life.
Using smoky quartz to dissolve negative energy can ground you, remove the negative, and keep you focused on your own healing journey. Smoky quartz is also a great way to protect yourself from negative psychic influences. This is a great crystal to dissolve gossip within the workplace, and create an open an honest environment.
Apache Tear (Obsidian) Crystals to Dissolve Negative Energy
On the list of crystals that dissolve negative energy is the apache tear. This is a wonderful crystal when you are working through grief and healing emotional wounds. All types of obsidian are good when used to dissolve negative energy; however, I have found that the apache tear has a unique quality to bring about a deeper level of healing related to our own personal circumstances.
When we are outwardly challenged with negative energies, the negativity is often resonating with issues in our own lives that need healing. Negative energy needs a place to land, and it is likely that if you are feeling lots of negativity coming into your situation, you may need to do some inner healing work yourself.
One quality of the apache tear is it can also assist us in seeing those things within ourselves that are holding us back with love. The apache tear is more about dissolving our own blocks to love, which is what makes it such a wonderful tool in dissolving negative energy. Energies with similar vibrations are attracted to each other, so we are often more influenced by negative environments when we are holding on to negative thoughts and emotions.
One thing to remember when it comes to inner healing is to recognize that our entire human journey and experience is holy. There is a challenge within spiritual communities to relegate our inner life as good or bad. That when we are “being good” we are good, and when we are “being bad” we are bad. When you use this crystal remember that it is important to be gentle and loving with yourself. This is the best way you will find healing within your own circumstances.
Bloodstone Crystals to Dissolve Negative Energy
Bloodstone is so named for the red specks that exist on it, and in crystal lore individuals believed that these red specks were the blood of Christ. Due to the lore associated with this stone I would encourage you to use this crystal to help you connect to your higher self, which is often times referred to as the Christ consciousness.
This crystal works more on the positive end of the spectrum, and is known for intensifying our own positive emotions. As we learned when we discussed the apache tear, negative energy can often draw in more negative energy, and the same is true with increasing our positive frame of mind. Positive energy will draw in more positive experiences. So this is a wonderful crystal to use to bring about a shift in the areas of life that you are experiencing negative energy.
Amber Crystals to Dissolve Negative Energy
Amber is a protection and manifestation stone. One of the best ways to dissolve negative influences in our lives is to make sure that things around us are not “getting in” to our psychic field. When using this crystal I would recommend visualizing an energy field surrounding your body that keeps negative vibes and influences out of your experience. Do this practice before negativity influences you. So You may want to do it at the beginning of your day, and then repeat the process during breaks throughout your day.
This does not have to be a long drawn out process. You can simply close your eyes for a minute or two and visualize a barrier around you that dispels negativity. This is also a good time to ask Spirit to send angels to guard you from negative influences.
These are by no means a complete list of crystals, but they do represent a good place to start if you want to incorporate crystals into your healing and spiritual practice. One thing to remember about crystals is they respond to intention. They can certainly aid us in discovery and assist us in bringing about change. But, the reality is that if we remain unwilling to change in certain areas of our lives the crystals themselves will have little effect. It is important with all healing practices that you take a holistic approach, and adopt methods that assist you in many ways. Crystal energy is often subtle, but when someone aligns their intention with it through action it can create wonderful results. My prayer is that each person reading this article will find the strategies that work best for them to bring healing to themselves and therefore the planet.
