Crystal Therapy: Five Crystals for Forgiveness

This week we are discussing forgiveness, and crystals that are associated with releasing stuck energy due to past events. Before we discuss crystals, let’s first look at the process of forgiveness and what it is and is not.

Forgiveness is not letting someone get away with something, it is not allowing bad behavior to continue, and it is not forgetting. What forgiveness can do for us is that it allows us to be free. When someone wounds us, energy can get stuck within us. Stuck energy is very uncomfortable energy, because it is a form of conflict in our life experience. Our lives are like a moving river, and if you have ever been on a torrential moving river it is not fun being stuck. Forgiveness is the process of getting back into the flow of life, and learning from the patterns of the past. By being willing to forgive we find the power to live.

Below includes a list of five crystals that can assist you in your forgiveness journey. Using crystal therapy in your forgiveness work can add depth and ease to the process.

crystalforgiveness1    First Type of Crystals for Forgiveness: Rhodonite

Rhodonite is a beautiful pink to purple crystal. It is a crystal of compassion, and is ideal for helping us to be compassionate not only to ourselves but to others. The act of forgiveness is first and foremost an act of loving ourselves, and a secondary benefit is a softening of our hearts to learn to be compassionate for others. This crystal allows us to get in touch with our compassionate side, and use that as a push forward in our healing journey.

crystalforgiveness4Second Type of Crystals for Forgiveness: Apache Tear

The Apache Tear is a black colored crystal, and is opaque when it is held to the light. The reason for its name is that people can often see a tear shape when they hold this crystal up to a light source. This crystal assists us in our centering practices. It allows us to get in touch with our inner feelings, and also assists in dissolving negative barriers and patterns that hold us back from experiencing the fullness of life. I recommend using this crystal in times of prayer and meditation, because of its very centering energy.

crystalforgiveness2Third Type of Crystals for Forgiveness: Lepidolite

Lepdolite is a very beautiful pink/purple stone. It has a sparkling reflective quality when light reflects off of it, but is not necessarily a shimmery stone. This crystal is wonderful to use for gaining mental and emotional stability. It can be used in forgiveness work because it can keep us from going to emotional extremes, while still allowing us to process and release the negative energy attached to the pain of our pasts. This is a great crystal to carry around with you, since it keeps individuals mentally and emotionally balanced.

crystalforgiveness3Forth Type of Crystals for Forgiveness: Azurite

Azurite is a beautiful blue green crystal. This is a wonderful crystal for communication, which is definitely a key to the forgiveness process. Healing takes courage, and it takes courage to talk about our inner most feelings. Azurite can assist in bringing you individuals who are safe to communicate with on your healing journey. This crystal can also assist in creating a more fluid communication experience with others. Sometimes the wounds that come up in our relationships are associated with ineffective communication with our loved ones. This crystal assists in helping us not only communicate more effectively, but also be more receptive to what others are attempting to communicate to us.

crystalforgiveness5Fifth Type of Crystals for Forgivenss: Rose Quartz

Rose quartz is the love crystal. It is a beautiful pink color, and one of the most well known healing crystals. This crystal increases our love and compassion towards others. It also helps us in understanding the situations of others in our healing process. One of the things that this crystal can aid in is understanding, especially that the things others have done to hurt you were not personal. This particular message may be challenging, because this understanding often only comes after reconciling the emotional pain and freeing up some of the stuck energy. That being said rose quartz can be a valuable crystal in your healing practice due to its vibrational nature in helping people understand with love and compassion.

Using these crystals for energy healing is quite simple. You can carry the crystals around with you, wear them as jewelry, and also use them in your spiritual practices such as meditation. The best way to use the crystals is to set your intention, and then visualize the energy coming into alignment through the aid of the crystal.

This is by no means a complete list of forgiveness crystals, but they do represent a good place to start if you want to incorporate crystals into your healing and spiritual practice. One thing to remember about crystals is they respond to intention. They can certainly aid us in discovery and assist us in bringing about change, but the reality is that if we remain unwilling to change in certain areas of our lives the crystals themselves will have little effect. It is important with all healing practices that you take a holistic approach, and adopt methods that assist you in many ways. Crystal energy is often subtle, but when someone aligns their intention with it through action it can create wonderful results. My prayer is that each person reading this article will find the strategies that work best for them to bring healing to themselves and therefore the planet.
