In this blog I will be discussing stones and crystals that have energetic properties to bring about balance within your energy body which is known as your chakra system. To understand how crystals work, I first want to discuss resonate energy. Resonate energy is the vibrational quality of the things around us. Everything carries an energy signature, and the reason why crystals are quite popular in metaphysical practices is because the resonate energy of crystals is often a higher frequency than other tools and objects. This is due to their unique matrices and minerals within each crystal.

Below includes a list of several crystals that can bring into balance your energy system. These are by no means the only crystals that can bring healing to your energy body, and it is important to understand that other practitioners could possibly develop a different list. However; in my personal life and practice, these are the crystals that I use when working with particular areas of the chakra system.
Using crystals for energy healing is quite simple. You can carry the crystals around with you, wear them as jewelry, and also use them in your spiritual practices such as meditation. The best way to use the crystals is to set your intention, and then visualize the energy coming into alignment through the aid of the crystal.
Root Chakra: Red Crystals for Chakra Alignment
This energy body is associated with our feelings of being grounded and connected to our physical reality. When this chakra is out of alignment we can feel disconnected to our present circumstances, as though the rug has been pulled out from under us, and unsteady about the future. It is associated with the color red, so red crystals work best for bringing this chakra into balance. Some crystals and stones that work well for this chakra are: rose quartz, garnet, fire opal, ruby, red coral, and aragonite.
Sacral Chakra: Orange Crystals for the Chakra Alignment
This energy body is associated with our sexuality, intimate relationships, and also relationship with money. When this energy body is out of alignment our most intimate relationships suffer. We find it difficult to have a healthy sexual expression, and our we are anxious and have difficulty managing our financial well being. The sacral chakra is associated with the color orange, so orange crystals often resonate well and bring this chakra into alignment. The best crystals and stones to use for this energy body are: amber, orange calcite, peach quartz, citrine, and tiger’s eye.
Solar Plexus Chakra: Yellow Crystals for the Chakra Alignment
The Solar plexus chakra is associated with our will power and also our personal power. When it is out of alignment we are prone to addictive behaviors, find it difficult to feel powerful, and struggle to be honest and direct. The solar plexus chakra is associated with the color yellow, so yellow crystals work well with bringing this chakra into alignment. Crystals that work well with this energy body are: citrine, prehnite, lemon quartz, topaz, amber (light colored) and tigers eye.
Heart Chakra: Green Crystals for the Chakra Alignment
The heart chakra balances our upper three and lower three chakras. When this chakra is out of alignment we often tend to favor either the upper or the lower three energy chakras, causing an imbalance in our energy body. For men energy often gets stuck in the upper three chakras. They can turn into laser beams with their logic, and are often overly confident externally, but do not have much of an internal, emotional life. They disconnect from their empathic side, and they can often make decisions that hurt others without feelings of remorse. Women tend to have their energy get stuck in the lower three chakras. They can become overly emotional and too reliant on others for their state of happiness (especially in romantic connections), and it becomes difficult to make well thought out and planned decisions. Please understand that this is just a common occurrence, but by no means indicates that every woman will detach from logic, nor does it mean that every man will relinquish emotional connection. From my practice this just seems to be a common thread with the heart chakra related to gender. The heart chakra is associated with the color green, and crystals that bring this energy body into alignment are: rose quartz (this is a pink stone, but certainly increases the frequencies of love), jade, emerald, malachite, adventurine, moss agate, and seraphinite.
Throat Chakra: Blue Crystals for the Chakra Alignment
This energy body is associated with our ability to effectively communicate and understand the communication of others. When this chakra is out of alignment we find it difficult to speak our truth. We often experience misunderstandings related to the way we have communicated something or the way someone is attempting to communicate with us. The throat chakra is associated with the color blue, so blue crystals work well in bringing this chakra into alignment. Some crystals that work well for bringing the throat chakra into alignment are: blue kyanite, amazonite, sodalite, tazanite, blue tourmaline, and turquoise.
Third Eye Chakra: Purple Crystals for the Chakra Alignment
This chakra is one of the best known chakras within the new age community, and has a lot of association with intuitive ability. It is true that this particular chakra plays a strong role in one’s intuitive strengths,; however, this chakra also plays a role in our ability to see things from a clear perspective. When this chakra is out of alignment we find it difficult to see things from more than one perspective. Confusion can also be a side effect from this energy body being out of alignment. This chakra is associated with the colors purple and indigo. Crystals that work well in bringing this chakra into alignment are: blue adventurine, blue tourmaline, barite, charoite, amethyst, and celestite.
Crown Chakra: Clear Crystals for the Chakra Alignment
The crown chakra represents our connection to that which is limitless. It is our connection to God. But, I find it better to explain that this chakra represents our connection to limitless resources and abundance. When this chakra is out of alignment we can experience difficulties coordinating through life. We struggle with seeing things from a perspective of limitlessness and experience the world through the philosophy of lack rather than abundance and limitlessness. This crystal is represented by the colors white and purple. Crystals that work best to bring this chakra into alignment are: phenecite, clear quartz, rutilated quartz, spirit quartz, amethyst, and danurite.
These are by no means a complete list of crystals, but they do represent a good place to start if you want to incorporate crystals into your healing and spiritual practice. One thing to remember about crystals is they respond to intention. They can certainly aid us in discovery and assist us in bringing about change, but the reality is that if we remain unwilling to change in certain areas of our lives the crystals themselves will have little effect. It is important with all healing practices that you take a holistic approach, and adopt methods that assist you in many ways. Crystal energy is often subtle, but when someone aligns their intention with it through action it can create wonderful results. My prayer is that each person reading this article will find the strategies that work best for them to bring healing to themselves and therefore the planet.¬¬¬¬¬¬¬
