The Color of Feeling (Aura)

Aura

Hello 🙂  My name is Malia.  I am a natural empath, intuitive, psychic and practitioner of energy healing. Although, there are times it seems more accurate to say I am an interpreter of vibration, feeling and color.

When a client calls me, the first thing I turn my attention to is typically color, specifically aura (the field of energy emanating from and returning to a person) color and what I am perceiving around the person and those they are asking about.

I will often mention the colors and what they mean, how these colors feel to me.  I also see the aura, not the physical body, when I read a person.

The following is meant to be a simple guide/explanation of the colors I usually explore through my work, how they feel to me.

These definitions are not meant to correlate or compete with any other explanation of aura color and meaning; however, I have found my experience to be similar to that of Edgar Cayce, as described in the book “Auras and Colors” by Kevin J Todeschi and Carol Ann Liaros.

  • Deep purple.  A seeker, a spiritual person, often an empath or expressing information through some psychic gift.  Otherworldly and full of depth in wisdom and etheric experience.

  • Light purple.  Also a seeker, spiritual person, often an empath but having difficulty holding boundaries, speaking truth, and/or wanting to stay in human form.

  • Vivid green.  Healing, healer, transformation in its most positive, expansion-filled aspect.

  • Putrid green.  Illness, disease, energy not flowing, lack of balance.

  • Light pink.  Unconditional love, children, a child, pregnancy, the feeling between parent and child, immature or naive love, softness.

  • Magenta.  One who can see between veils, psychic, a combination of purple and pink, spirituality and love.

  • Grey.  Indecision, depression, inability to speak one’s truth, stuck energy, a feeling of a void or purgatory.

  • Brown.  Lost soul, lack of direction, moving towards actions that are not in a person’s best interest, addiction, self sabotage.

  • Navy blue.   A feeling or knowingness of royal lineage, money, feeling supported and sure of one’s self, analytical, of the mind, an intellectual.

  • Bright yellow.  Reactivity, immaturity, naivety, self centeredness, self absorbed, health, physical vibrance.

  • Golden yellow.  Healthy, happy, flowing, easy going.

  • Bright red.  Passion, masculine, root energy, sexual energy, force, vigor.

  • Darker red.  Anger, resentment.

  • Orange.  Maturity, success, old soul, comfortable with affection, comfortable in varied social settings, at ease with self, comfortable in one’s skin, soft unspoken confidence, not pushy or arrogant but quietly commanding.

  • White.  Christed consciousness, martyr, altruism, all colors reflected.

  • Hazy/cloudy.  Use of drugs, alcohol, cigarettes or use of other nerve or emotion “numbing” agent, disallowing grounding and true vivid experience.

Of course, a person’s aura will change as they grow and mature, often having a light pink energy in childhood and moving towards richer or more vivid colors through adolescence and into adulthood.  Most people present with at least one dominant color at any given point in their experience. For instance, during our teen years, it is not uncommon for women to have a very bright yellow energy indicating youth, drama, self-centeredness, naivety and reactivity.

When a person matures enough to learn to center themselves and draw energy to them rather than push against life, it is common to begin to have a navy energy and for finances to begin to stabilize and even expand.

People are also likely to wear and favor their own aura colors as a subconscious expression of self.  If you wish to draw love to you or get pregnant, you might consider wearing light pink or rose.  If you wish to have a grounded and steady career, drawing money to yourself, you might consider wearing navy blue.

The following images were taken by myself, at a location I regularly visit and meditate.  These are what I understand to be light reflecting energy (aura) minus the physical body.  Enjoy!
