Tarot Card of the Week: Inner Strength

Strength – The Journey of Inner Strength

This week, you might need to use your courage and inner strength to face something unpleasant, or you needed to face your fears and not let your fears devour you, or you needed to face someone who thought they could push you around.

You are the Hero, the Strength associated with a continuous cycle of change and the seventy-eight passageways of growth that will open up and lead you to explore new opportunities.

Tarot Card of the Week: Five of Cups

Five of Cups

Tarot Card of the Week: March 6 – March 12, 2017

Five of Cups

If you are experiencing feelings of loneliness and isolation this week, you might want to ask yourself whether you’re seeing the full picture.

The Five of Cups is often tied to feelings of disappointment and regret. You may be feeling shut out at time when you most needed to be let in; rejected at a time when you most wanted to feel included.

There may be some anger here as well, as in feeling duped in some way or betrayed. But in this version — from Cathy McClelland’s gorgeous Star Tarot — the emphasis is more on what has been lost than on what can be gained.

The woman in this card focuses on the three cups spilled at her feet rather than the two that are still left and are overflowing with symbols of happiness and joy.

She can’t even see them as she’s so busy protecting herself from the elements (the rain and storm clouds brewing behind her) and focusing on what she’s lost.

Numerology Card of the Week — Intuition

IntuitionThe Numerology Card of the Week

for March 4th to Mar 10, 2017

Number 22 ~ Intuition

This card encourages you to trust your inner guidance and to embrace the intuitive wisdom that resides within your soul.

By drawing this card, you are being urged to honor your sensitivity at all times and to prioritize your premonitions and hunches above practicality and logic.

This isn’t a time to be influenced by others’ opinions or to betray your inner guidance in order to fit in.  Instead, you must trust your intuition, for it will never let you down.

You are now being encouraged to spend quiet time alone.  Nature and the outdoors will enhance your connection to Source and align your soul with Mother Earth.

Likewise regular prayer, meditation, listening to music, mindful breathing and exercise such as yoga or Qigong will enhance your intuition and help develop clairvoyant, clairaudient, claresentient, and claircognizant abilities.

Tarot Card of the Week: Three of Swords

Chinese Tarot - Three of Swords

Tarot Card of the Week: Feb 27 – Mar 5, 2017

Three of Swords

This may be a high energy and potentially volatile week. Emotions can be difficult to contain — particularly the more aggressive emotions, like anger, impatience and indignation.

You want to be on your toes, especially where relationships are concerned as you may have to deflect a few daggers that come your way.

The Three of Swords — this version from the gorgeous Chinese Tarot — is often seen as pain and heartache, but this version veers so significantly from traditional imagery that it becomes a welcome and refreshing change.

You may not be particularly happy every moment of every day. You may still feel the sting of rejection or love lost.

But as you can see from the figure in in this card, it’s more about stopping pain in its tracks than it is about allowing it to cut you to your deepest core.

The young warrior in this card is a whirlwind of action and energy. She sees the sword coming at her and acts with deftness and precision. She wields two swords of her own and uses them to block the third one, thus minimizing the damage done.

Numerology Card of the Week — Spiritual Career

The Numerology Card of the Week

Whatever your situation, this card is confirmation that you have genuine talents and abilities that need to be put to good use.

You may decide to work as a clairvoyant, life coach, homeopath, or healer and see clients from your home; or try your hand at being a card reader, numerologist, or astrologer at your local mind, body, spirit fair.

Tarot Card of the Week: Two of Wands

two of wands

Tarot Card of the Week: Feb 20 – Feb 26, 2017

Two of Wands

This week ends with a new Moon solar eclipse, as seen in the image of this card. But it’s the days leading up to it you most want to think about. The Two of Wands — like all Twos — refers to taking the spark of an idea (seen in the Aces) and forming it into a tangible, working plan.

This requires looking at it from all angles — weighing the pros and cons, evaluating time and energy, separating the wheat from the chaff and so on. This is beautifully represented in the imagery depicted on this version of the card.

In this version of the card — from Nathalie Hertz’s beautiful Fantastical Tarot — we see two leopards, one dark and one light, each standing watch by their own ornate pillars. The dark leopard is an exact mirror image of the light.

Their sleek bodies curve toward one another and become “one,” reminding us of the power of uniting opposing forces to make one stronger entity. The Sun shines high in the sky between them.

The key here is balance: you won’t be able to make something happen without careful consideration and planning. And all the planning in the world won’t cause your ideas to materialize without putting in the effort.

Numerology Card of the Week — Healing

The Numerology Card of the Week

This card is practically screaming at you and I would take this as a tap on the shoulder from your own Spiritual Guides that it’s time for healing, whether it is healing your body, healing your heart, or healing your mind.  It’s time!

This is the time to focus on your healing abilities and being of service to others.  You are being encouraged to expand your understanding of the healing arts and the many different ways to heal.

Perhaps you feel drawn to Reiki, kinesiology, physical therapy, homeopathy, acupuncture, nursing, counseling, or life coaching.

Whichever path you choose, it’s time to set the wheels in motion.  You may need to receive bodywork or healing such as Reiki, kinesiology, acupuncture, cognitive behavior therapy, or herbal medicine to help shift any stagnant or toxic energy.

Tarot Card of the Week: Page of Mirrors

page of cupsTarot Card of the Week: Feb 13–Feb 19, 2017
Page of Mirrors

This weeks’ card is the Page of cups from the wonderful Chrysalis Tarot by Toney Brooks and Holly Sierra. (in this deck the card is called “Page of Mirrors”). What a wonderful card to herald Valentine’s Day and the gentle energy blooming this week!

Our conscious minds are always whirring and it’s all too easy for our logical, intellectual circuits to take over. We see the logic in our current situation and are constantly trying to size up what works and what doesn’t; what will cause us harm and what will bring us joy. As adults we learn to peek around corners, to appraise danger, to doubt new opportunities.

The Page of Mirrors (cups) is all about the part of us that resonates with heart and soul instead of just our adult, protective “logic.” The Page of Mirrors is innocent, loving, romantic and comfortable gazing into the waters of intuition and emotion. She is free to follow her heart.

In many ways, this energy inspires creativity and innocence. The very nature of the intuition and the subconscious are reflected in this card and you might find yourself inspired with the kind of “aha!” that can only come in a surprising or unexpected brush with creative epiphany. That little voice that leaps past logic and gives us a stroke of genius whether about an artistic endeavor or how to handle a relationship.

Numerology Card of the Week — Parenting

The Numerology Card of the Week

for Feb 11th  to Feb 17, 2017

Number 63 ~ Parenting

This card indicates that you have a natural gift for parenting and working with children.

Perhaps you have a child or children of your own, or maybe there are children within your extended family or circle of friends.

Maybe you play the parental role within your relationships with others who tend to behave like children .

Whatever the case may be, your ability to teach, nurture, and guide the next generation raises the vibration of the world.  Every ounce of time, attention, love, and support you invest in a child pays dividends down the road.

This is a time to honor and embrace the significant role you play in the life of a child whether it is your own or that of a partner, neighbor, relative, client, or friend.

Don’t underestimate the importance of your unconditional love and guidance, because even a small gesture can have a massive impact on a child’s life.

Tarot Card of the Week: Page of Pentacles

Crystal Visions - Page of PentaclesTarot Card of the Week: Feb 6 – Feb 12, 2017

Page of Pentacles

This week we have a Full Moon lunar eclipse in the warm, creative, expressive sign of Leo. Leo is confident and dynamic, a natural performer who loves to take center stage.

This archetype is known for its interest in the arts. It gravitates toward the many different areas of creative self-expression, like theater, music, poetry, art and other creative endeavors.

But Leo knows that you have to take the time to develop and perfect your skills before you can be ready to unleash them on the public. Much like that Page of Pentacles — this version from Jennifer Galasso’s Crystal Visions Tarot.

The Page of Pentacles may be someone in your life; if so he or she is here to teach you something. This person may be immersed in a hobby or trade; he or she may be a student or apprentice; and he or she may just starting a new job and filled with all the inspiration and anticipation that comes with taking on a brand new project.

Here we see a young woman seated high up in the branches of a tree. This may be her sacred space: if you look around you can see where she’s carved figures of woodland nymphs into the surrounding branches.

Tarot of the Week Nine of Wands

Nine of Wands

Tarot Card of the Week: Jan 30 – Feb 6 2017

Nine of Wands

The Nine of Wands in the Mystic Dreamer Tarot Deck represents courage, persistence, a test of faith and resilience. All these powers are at your disposal when you see this card in a reading.

The Suit of Wands represents the element of Fire. The card meanings of “wands” are associated with: energy, spirituality, inspiration, determination, strength, intuition, creative thinking, ambition, and growth.

Depending on other cards, this one could either help clarify a work or relationship situation.  So let’s first take a look at the image.

Here we see a beautiful woman, a representation of our psyche the intuitive side of us, she is our sixth sense. She looks thoughtfully on to choices she has to make. She’s bathed in an ethereal, glow. She contemplates what do to as she struggles for enlightenment.

She has traveled a long way and is tired, she is finally coming to the end of something, a particular task or finishing up something at the last minute. You may feel like you are challenged by setbacks but somehow you see everything through just in time.
