A Glance at your Day – the Diurnal Chart
For those who read their daily horoscope and find that most of it is general in its delivery – there is a good reason for this: it is written for the masses not for you in particular!
Sure, there may be some things that will come to the fore on any given day/week/month in these solar based predictions, but, there is no better way to see how your day may pan out than looking at your diurnal chart.
A diurnal chart is quite simply your personalized horoscope for any particular day in your life. This is due to the way a diurnal chart is calculated.
Multiple Marriages in the Natal Chart
Can your natal chart show that you may have multiple marriages? What are the indicators, and what will be activated at the time you get married again? This can be seen in your chart!
I wrote an article at the beginning of the year outlining Jennifer Aniston’s chart and what was going when she married Brad Pitt. She has recently remarried, so it should be interesting to see if she had indications again that she would marry.
The Astrology of Divorce and Break Ups
Can astrology predict when a marriage or relationship may go sour or experience difficulty? Can an astrologer foresee a divorce?
For this question, I have to say in most cases yes. The reason is that everyone goes through cycles.
Transits and progressions to one’s chart bring that planet’s energy to the chart. This can have an impact on our experiences during that period of time.
Another thing to consider is the individual horoscopes as well as the synastry and composite charts between the two people being analyzed for potential divorce or break up.
Ask a Psychic: Should I Stay or Should I Go?
This week’s question comes from a client who has been in a long distance relationship for the past 7 months.
Things have been going well and even though they live in difference countries, they’ve made time to see each other at least twice a month.
But a recent death in the family prompted her to reach out to him, hoping he would be there for her when she needed him. Not only did he not come, he didn’t seem supportive at all.
She felt that he was annoyed with her for “expecting him to drop everything” and ended the conversation on a sour note.
Relationship Compatibility – Astrologically Speaking
Often when I am perusing discussion forums or websites that have questions about astrology, I see the most common one: “How does (insert zodiac sign here) get along with (insert other zodiac sign here)?”
I do see some trying to take a stab at answering, giving the typical, “…you are both Fire signs, so you should get along great” response.
Not only are these nuggets of wisdom misleading to the novice who is reading them, but, just comparing the Sun signs of two individuals as the end all of whether they would make a great couple is a disservice to astrology.
Career Indicators in the Horoscope
Astrology has many uses and can answer most any question one may have. One area of life that astrology can be quite helpful is gaining insight into what your chart shows you have an aptitude for career wise.
Most of my readings tend to involve questions about relationships. However, I have seen more and more people who want to know what their chart has to say about career.
Some just want to know when they will get a job, others want to know something deeper – what type of profession they should pursue.
I have gotten this question from young people who are in their second or third year of college and feel what they thought they wanted to do is not necessarily as fulfilling as they dreamed. Others are those in mid life or who have raised children and now want to focus on what their purpose may be.
The Time Frame Trap – Are you Participating in the Prediction or Sitting on the Sidelines?
I received a message the other day from a client who had a very interesting question. She wondered if one were to dwell on a time frame that they were given, if it might have an effect on the outcome or even make said prediction and time frame NOT come to pass.
Most questions I receive start out simple enough. Will I move? Will I start a new romance? Will my ex and I reconcile? Will I get a job/promotion? You get the idea.
The conundrum is if I get a yes answer, the invariable next question to myself as well as most if not all other readers is, “When do you see that happening?”
I practice horary astrology, so, timing can be done by looking at the significators in the chart and determining their position or degrees away from each other and when they would perfect their aspect.
There are other forms of timing in horary, but I won’t bore you with the specifics.
I also look at one’s natal chart and the transits, lunations and progressed Moon that may trigger an event. Here is where things may get tricky. Once a time frame is given, what is the client to do with it?
