Ask a Psychic: Long Distance Love

long distance love

This week’s question comes from a woman who’s developed a love connection a man she’s been been friends with (online) with for the past two years.

Both of them were involved with other people at the onset of their friendship: she was married and he was involved in a long term committed relationship. But over time as their other relationships ended, they’ve grown closer and now admit to having much stronger feelings for one another.

Our client, whom we will call Candice, says she feels a little silly getting so emotionally invested in someone she’s never met in person, although they do speak on the phone and text or Skype daily. They’ve also begun to openly express feelings for one another.

Her love interest (we’ll call him Terrell) has been an incredibly support for her during the fallout of her marriage and throughout her divorce and she returned the favor once his own relationship ended several months later.

While they have discussed meeting in person and have even talked about finding ways to resolve the logistical challenges if things do move forward, Candice is wondering whether or not this something that can evolve into a serious relationship.

She wants to know whether this relationship is going to develop into something more substantial and if so, what the future might look like for the two of them.

This week Cristina takes a look at her question, and responds as follows:

Blessings to you and thank you for allowing me to do a reading for you. I’ve randomly pulled two cards from one of my favorite Tarot decks — the Gilded Tarot by Ciro Marchetti.

As you can see the cards I pulled for you are the Queen of Cups and The King of Cups.

Cups represents the element of water, which are free flowing emotions. The Queen of Cups is nurturing, caring, compassionate and sensitive. She is a good wife and a loving mother as she is emotionally secure and can connect on an emotional level with others. I see her as you.

The King of Cups, like all the court cards in the suit of Cups, represents emotion, creativity, and the unconscious. He can be a bit more practical than the queen. I see this card as him.

This relationship between you has already developed into something more substantial. Spiritually you have met for a purpose. Both of you have gone through some hard times in your relationships, and breakups are difficult, even if they are mutual. So you are in each other’s lives to help each other through these difficult times.

You are currently filling a need. A need to be loved, respected and admired, something you both lacked while in your individual partnerships. So you are not silly in believing that this could be real. It is real. And you should enjoy it because you both get a lot out of it.

I do not see a meeting this year, but I do see that as time goes on, you will make plans to meet. And will see each other. Only because the desire is strong, and your free wills will make a meeting happen.

Will you move there or him move where you are so you can build a life together? I don’t see that at this time, that could change.

Call me for a full reading on your situation. Love and light.
